The Most WTF-worthy Children’s Toy Ever

In today’s bizarre news, I proudly bring you Bebe Gloton… the breast feeding doll that comes with a nipple bra for your child!

Available only in Spain, Bebe Gloton (which means “greedy baby”) looks just like your run of the mill life-like doll baby, but with a special new talent.

For the bargain basement price of only 44 euros, your five year old daughter can strap on a halter top with strategically placed nipple flowers, and Baby Gloton will make really cool sucking sounds when your precious child puts the doll’s mouth to her chest! It will then begin crying until it is burped, but after that bit of unpleasantness it can be pulled right back to the flower nipple to renew it’s gluttonous slurping.

This thing is awesome. By awesome I mean… WTF?!

Many parents in Spain so far have been more than happy to buy the doll for their children, believing that it encourages breast feeding when they have their own children. However hate mail has been pouring in from people who aren’t insane.

“Honestly, I think this is awful. Now let me just be clear, I think breastfeeding is wonderful and wholeheartedly encourage it, however, it is completely inappropriate to allow a young girl to mimic it. Yes, breastfeeding is completely natural, but it is something that only adults do, not children. It would actually disgust me if I were to see a child using this â€œtoyâ€.”

What do you think, readers? Is this more inappropriate than a doll that craps itself? Personally I’d rather my child know how to change a diaper than know how to breast feed.

Maybe I’m strange though.

PETA Wants Us To Drink Breast Milk

PETA wants their breast milk ice cream, and they want you to have some, too. The animal rights organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), sent a letter to Ben & Jerry’s Homemade ice cream company requesting that they replace the cow’s milk in their famed ice cream with breast milk, according to a press release by PETA.

Ben & Jerry replied that “a mother’s milk is best used for her child,” according to WITN. PETA suggested that Ben and Jerry’s make breast milk ice cream to minimize the suffering of the cows. While their request was extreme and implausible, they could have made other more viable requests about th cow’s health. They could have also suggested vegan product lines for B & J, which are popular in health food markets and natural food markets.

According to the PETA press release, the idea came from the news that a Swiss restaurateur would be substituting 75 percent of the cow’s milk with breast milk. In the U.S. there are breast milk banks where lactating mothers with an abundance of breast milk can donate their breast milk. The lactating mothers are put through health screenings before the breast milk is made available to babies.

The PETA release also states that the mothers providing the milk for the unnamed Swiss restaurateur are paid for their milk. If this were to happen in the United States, how many of the mothers currently donating breast milk to breast milk banks for babies in need would opt to be paid instead? Would this practice truly make healthier humans as PETA suggests?

Jamie Lynn Spears Breastfeeding Photos

A stolen picture of Jamie Lynn Spears breast feeding her baby has sparked a federal pornography investigation.

Law enforcement sources said that federal and local authorities are on the hunt for someone peddling 12 pics of Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn, daughter Maddie and baby daddy Casey Aldridge. One of the pictures shows Jamie Lynn breast feeding Maddie — Jamie Lynn’s left breast is exposed.

The pics were taken on Casey’s digital camera. We’re told he took the camera card to his local Wal-Mart in Louisiana for copies. Law enforcement believes someone at the Wal-Mart may have made extra copies, then tried selling them.

Because Jamie Lynn is a minor, selling the pics — or buying them — could constitute a violation of federal laws prohibiting pornography. Peddling pictures of a minor’s breast — even if not taken for sexual purposes — could land the seller and the buyer in federal prison if they are marketed across state lines for the purpose of being lurid. Also, anyone purchasing the pics could be prosecuted for the crime of receiving stolen property.

Other pics in the set include Britney holding the baby and one of Jamie Lynn, Britney, Brian (Brit’s bro), Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears around Jamie Lynn’s hospital bed. There are also pics of Maddie by herself, and there’s a picture of Jamie Lynn in a negligee holding the baby.

Authorities are trying to find the man who is attempting to sell the photos. In addition, Britney’s lawyers are thinking about going after Wal-Mart for the alleged security breach.
