The First Lady of France, Carla Bruni stepped out earlier today and we can’t help but see signs of a growing baby bump.
French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife have yet to confirm that they are expecting, but Sarkozy’s father, Pal, let the cat out of the bag for the couple.
He was quoted saying, “The two do not want to know the gender in advance, but I’m sure it will be a girl and as beautiful as Carla.”
There has been speculation of a possible baby for some time now, but it looks like Bruni is running out of time to keep things under wraps.
The baby will be the first for the couple, but the fifth child for the pair. Bruni has a son from a former relationship and Sarkozy has three sons from previous marriages

A nude photo of ex-model and current French First Lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, is going up for sale. And, no, it’s not of the scandalous “stolen camera”/ex-boyfriend variety.
“Carla Bruni in Bed” — a tasteful black and white image captured by the soft and feminine lens of legendary photographer Pamela Hanson in 1994 — depicts the then model with nothing more than white sheets strategically covering her nether regions.
According to The Daily Beast, one of the ten numbered prints went up for auction on June 4 at Villa Grisebach Auktionen, a Berlin auction house, with bids starting at $3,380.
Last year’s Bruni in the buff photo sold for a whopping $91,000 at a New York auction, but this photo didn’t generate quite as much cash, selling for $19,600 to an anonymous bidder.
The real question is whether hubby and French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, was the anonymous bidder. Would he outbid everyone to take home what he gets to see everyday for free?
It appears that a bunch of naked pictures featuring Carla Bruni have been stolen from her ex-boyfriend Raphaël Enthoven‘s brothers home.
It seems Raphaël, a philosopher, had given the images and some videos to his younger brother Julien, an actor, because he did not want to embarrass his new girlfriend or Carla’s husband Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France.
A source said “the thieves appeared to know exactly what they were looking for – taking highly intimate prints, a camera full of further images, videos, and numerous computer files. They broke into Mr Enthoven’s flat in Rue Dauphine, in the sixth arrondissement, on Sunday night, smashing a window in the sitting room which looks out on to the courtyard. Nobody was at home at the time, and nothing else was taken.”
The police now fear that whoever took the files could sell them for shitloads of money and then be leaked online causing embarrassment to Sarkozy.
Neighbors said that “it’s almost impossible to get into any of the flats here, and burglaries are pretty much unheard of, nobody heard anything, even though they say a window was smashed in the courtyard. It seems strange that photos of Carla Bruni should have been targeted and then an announcement made about their disappearance. Also, what kind of a person keeps dozens of photographs of his brother’s ex-lover? Something does not add up here. Perhaps somebody wanted these pictures out of the way?
This is the third burglary that has happened this year that is linked to Sarkozy, documents and money was robbed out of his brother. A wee before that almost a million dollars worth of jewelery was taken from the home of his second wife.
Also as you may know, this isn’t the first naked picture controversy to hit Carla Bruni, last year the above image was stolen that showed her posing naked from her modeling days and then the below photos are from her spread in GQ.
What a messy situation, this is beyond some Jerry Springer shit.

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, the first lady of France has been awarded $57,500 in damages after she sued Pardon, a clothing company who used her 1993 nude photo on their white canvas shopping bags.
The former model, now married to the President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, posed nude for photographer Michel Comte in an an anti-AIDS campaign back in 1993.
The lawsuit was filed last week and her lawyer said, “neither Mrs. Carla Bruni nor the photographer has given consent for the use of the photo, [they] did not want this goal to be hijacked.”
The owner of Pardon, Peter Mertes, said that they had removed 10,000 bags and had planned to burn all of the bags, on the courts decision for the money to be awarded he said they would appeal the money – because the sum was too large for a “small blunder.”

The judge said “the unauthorized use of the image of Carla Bruni caused her moral and economic damage.” All money awarded is expected to be donated to charity, according to her lawyers.
I always feel unsympathetic when old images of celebrities are leaked, but since it was for charity then I’m glad Carla Bruni-Sarkozy won the money.

A topless photo of willowy model-turned-French First Lady Carla Bruni sold for almost six figures Thursday after a furious bidding war erupted at Christie’s auction house.
“There was a protracted bidding battle, on the phone, on the Internet and in the room,” said Rik Pike of Christie’s.
Still, the bare-breasted Bruni pic by photographer Michel Comte couldn’t compete with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen – or even old-school starlet Brigitte Bardot.
A famed prewardrobe-malfunction shot of Janet Jackson that graced the cover of Rolling Stone sold for just $10,000.
The highest price of the day was $241,000 for a photo of four models titled “Naked and Dressed.”
The 135 pix on the block came from the collection of Gert Elfering, who voraciously bought up iconic images of gorgeous women, especially in their birthday suits.
The 1993 glamour shot of a pert Bruni was taken in her supermodel prime. The shot, in which she covers only her most private part, was expected to draw a measly $3,000.

Only nine weeks after meeting, and less than three weeks since telling journalists he was “serious,” French President Nicolas Sarkozy and the ex-supermodel turned singer-songwriter wed in a civil ceremony Saturday morning morning in Paris.
The French President 53, who divorced in October, and the Italian-born Bruni were wed at 11 a.m. in the Presidential Office of the Elysee Palace, in a private civil ceremony before 30 family and friends.
Bruni, 39, who signed her wedding certificate “Mrs. Carla Bruni Sarkozy,” wore a white dress and looked “ravishing as usual,” according to Paris’s 8th Arrondissement Mayor Francois Lebel, who officiated the 20-minute ceremony.
Born Carla Bruni Tedeschi, December 23rd 1967, in Turin, Italy, she grew up in France from the age of five and later attended boarding school in Switzerland. She eventually returned to Paris to study art and architecture, but left school at 19 to become a model full-time.
Heiress to Italian tire manufacturing Pirelli fortune, Bruni signed with City Models at age 19 and her career began. Paul Marciano, president and creative director of Guess? Inc., came across her picture among a stack of composite cards of aspiring models and chose her to model with Estelle Hallyday in ad campaigns for Guess? jeans. Bruni subsequently worked for a number of designers and fashion houses, such as Christian Dior, Paco Rabanne, Sonia Rykiel, Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Yves Saint-Laurent, Chanel, Versace, and others. By the 1990s, Bruni was among the 20 highest-paid fashion models, earning $7.5 million a year. While modeling, Bruni dated Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger and Donald Trump.

In 2002, her debut album Quelqu’un m’a dit, produced by ex-lover Louis Bertignac, was released in Europe with success in Francophone countries.
