Usually when you break into someones house you get in and out as quickly as possible while grabbing the most expensive things you can, not that I’ve done this or anything. But a burglar who broke into Celine Dion‘s home obviously missed this memo.
You see the man, who has now been identified as 36-year-old Daniel Bedard, broke into Celine’s mansion in Montreal and decided to treat the home as if it was his own because he made himself some snacks and then ran himself a bath. Celine and husband Rene Angelil luckily weren’t at home at the time of the break-in.
Bedard, who ate a few pastries, scaled the fence of the singers home and then tried to gain access to the house through the front door but this failed. He then spotted Angélil’s car had keys in the ignition and a garage door opener so he broke into the car and took those. He then gained access through the the garage.
After having his snack the failed burglar then went upstairs and put the bath on but what he didn’t know is that he had set off the house alarm which alerted local police who immediately came to the scene.
A spokesman for the police, Franco Di Genova, said that when they arrived at the house they found Bedard coming down the stairs and asked officers “Hey, guys what are young doing here?’”
“So the officers replied, ‘What are you doing here?’ and they proceeded to put him under arrest,” says Genova.
Bedard was then arrested and charged with breaking and entering, car theft and property damage and is next due to appear in court on November 21st.
This actually reminds me of somebody that I know who got broken into, the burglar broke into their home and made themselves a sandwich but they also took some jewelry.
Matthew Fox has found himself in hot water with police in Cleveland, Ohio after he was detained by them on Saturday night after he allegedly assaulted a woman.
TMZ reports that the ‘Lost’ star was outside of a bar in Cleveland and tried to get on a party bus parked outside despite the fact that he wasn’t even a guest on it.
The woman, whose name is Heather Bormann, tried to block the actor from getting on the bus and then he snapped and punched her in the breast and stomach area.
Police were then called to the scene and they handcuffed Fox before releasing him to a friend, they never arrested him. The friend put him in a taxi and they went back to his hotel.
Bormann told police that she punched Fox back and hit him in the mouth which caused a cut on his lip, she also told police that she may have “broken her hand during the altercation.”
When TMZ contacted the woman she said that she was the driver for the party bus and when she told him he wasn’t allowed on it he was too drunk to understand. Here is what she says:
“He just kept staring at me with his mouth wide open and not saying anything. I told him, ‘You have to leave buddy. You are trespassing on my bus.’ He leaned in and started punching my crotch and breast. I took one hand to his jaw and he was spitting blood. He stumbled backwards. This was my self-defense, this was the only way I could protect myself…..from a man beating up on a woman.”
Police took an assault report and are currently investigating the incident while Bormann say she is meeting with prosecutors and might press charges against the actor.
Samantha Ronson was arrested in Baker, California, last week for a DUI after she was pulled over by cops and she has now officially been charged as of today.
In case you missed it the 33-year-old ex-girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan was pulled over on her way back from Las Vegas a 10:30 am for speeding and when she was given a field sobriety test she failed.
When she was originally pulled over she refused to take a non-mandatory breathalyzer on the scene so the officer decided to arrest her ant take her to a local station which is when she was forced to give a test. She blew over the limit.
Now she has been charged with the DUI and is facing two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and having a blood-alcohol level of .08 or above according to the LA Times.
None of this stopped Ronson from continuing her life though because over the weekend she was in Chicago playing with her band, the Undertakers, and she stopped by a tattoo shop to look for ideas to cover the heart on her left hand. The same heart that matches one of Lohan’s tattoos.
Since the arrest Ronson has completely ignored it on her Twitter account and acted as if nothing has happened.
Outkast’s Big Boi was arrested in Miami yesterday on charges of drug possession according to the Miami-Dade County Corrections Department.
TMZ reports that Big Boi, whose real name is Antwan Patton, was caught carrying the drugs by customs and border patrol dogs as he got off a cruise ship in Miami.
His drug choices were ecstasy pills, MDMA powder and Viagra (which he didn’t have a prescription for), he was then booked into jail and held on $16,000 bail.
The rapper who is most known for being one half of Outkast immediately posted the bail and has since been released, he also released a statement through his lawyer, Daniel Kane.
“While Big Boi was traveling with his group and friends, a small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage, I am confident when the entire facts are aired Big Boi will be completely exonerated,” the statement reads.
This all comes one week after Outkast announced plans to start working on a new album.
Leighton Meester filed a lawsuit against her own mother, Constance, after she claimed that her mother had been using money the actress sent for her sick brother for personal reasons including Botox. Now her mother claims her daughter beat her with a bottle.
Leighton’s mother filed a counter-suit claiming that the Gossip Girl actress threw her to the ground and repeatedly hit her with a bottle back in December. This is like an episode from the TV show she stars on.
TMZ reports that the counter-suit states that at 2:00 AM on December 11, 2010, Leighton attacked her mother with a bottle and then had to be pulled off her by her brother, Lex.
As for the lawsuit Leighton filed regarding the money, Constance says it’s true she sent her the money but it wasn’t for her brother it was more a repayment for the money she spent helping out Leighton’s career.
It’s hard to believe what is true and what isn’t true especially when there is no written contracts. This is all crazy, I can only imagine what Christmas dinner will be like.
It looks like we have another greedy parent of a celebrity on our hands because Leighton Meester is suing her own mother over money because Leighton claims her mother spent money on herself when it was meant for her sick brother, Lex.
TMZ , who first reported about the lawsuit, says that Leighton’s mother, Constance, refused to work so Leighton took it upon herself to send $7,500 a month to help take care of her brother, who has sever medical issues.
The lawsuit claims that Constance used the money for personal expenses, which included plastic surgery, botox and hair extensions, instead of using the money for Leighton’s younger brother.
Constance apparently threatened to sue Leighton if she didn’t up the monthly payments to $10,000 a month for the rest of her life because she says they had an oral contract. Leighton calls bullshit on this and has decided to sue her mother.
“This whole thing’s been really tough on Leighton, her only concern has always been taking care of her brother. Leighton’s really close with her brother and her dad – her parents are divorced. Leighton’s a sweet girl – she cares about work, friends and family.” Says a source who spoke to People .
This isn’t the first time Constance has been in trouble with the law – a woman filed and won a restraining order against her earlier this year after she harassed her and then back in the 1980′s she was convicted of helping smuggle marijuana into the U.S. and that’s when she gave birth to the Gossip Girl actress in a halfway house in Texas.
Lindsay Lohan seems to be in court every few weeks and yesterday was no different because was in court for a standard progress report with Judge Stephanie Sautner where the judge told that she is getting sick of Lohan taking her time to complete community service sentence.
Two months ago Lohan was sentenced to do 60 days of community service but she has only bothered to do 4 of those days and yesterday Judge Sautner made it very clear, that if she doesn’t complete the full 60 days within one year of the date of sentencing, then she will most likely be thrown back in jail. Yeah how many times have we heard that line?
Another part of Lohan’s probation is that she was to get some psychological counseling but again she has failed to do this, the reason she hasn’t done it? Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, told the judge it’s because she can’t afford private counseling.
The judge didn’t buy this, probably because Lohan showed up to court wearing $1,200 Christian Louboutin heels and is currently renting a multi-million dollar home in Venice, so she told her she has 21 days to enroll in private counseling.
“If she doesn’t have the means [to pay for it], she’s got to find someone to help her out,” the judge told the courtroom. Lohan says she can’t do cheaper group counseling because of issues with the paparazzi.
At the end of the hearing Sautner told Lohan that if she doesn’t get her act together then she will be brought back to court, but for now her next hearing is in October.
Just over a month ago Weston Cage and his wife, Nikki Williams, were both arrested after they got in a fight and smacked each other around. Well he has been arrested again for domestic violence.
TMZ reports that Nicolas Cage‘s troubled son was arrested by the LAPD for felony domestic violence at around 5am yesterday at his home in Hollywood for the second time in two months.
When cops picked him up they also took to him to a nearby hospital to be treated for cuts, which they believe were self-inflicted. Nikki’s wife spoke to TMZ and told them that “Nikki is safe and away from him.”
Which makes a change since last time Weston was arrested they also picked his wife up and booked her with felony domestic violence after she tried to attack him with a glass bottle.
Weston, who is still in custody on $50,000 bail, has now received a lifetime ban from UFC’s top boss Dana White after he issued a statement saying that he will never “set foot in a UFC ring after two domestic violence arrests.”
Somebody needs to get this guy help as soon as possible.
Nicolas Cage‘s troubled son, Weston Cage, was arrested yesterday along with his wife, Nikki Williams, for felony domestic assault just days after they were both released from rehab.
TMZ first reported the news that cops were called to the couples home in Los Angeles at around 7:30 am yesterday after they received a call reporting that a person was screaming for help inside the home, police took both of them to a local station for questioning.
Now it’s been revealed that they’ve both been booked on felony domestic violence after she allegedly attacked him with a bottle and cut his arm with it as well as punching him and threatened to jump off the balcony. Apparently the cops decided to book Weston because they believe he was also violent.
This comes just a few days after they were both released from rehab, he went in not long after his infamous altercation with his trainer last month and she then followed him. Weston has posted the $50,000 bail that was on him so he has been revealed but he left her behind and she is still in custody, Weston told TMZ’s photographer to “never get married”.

Anytime I find myself reading about Andy Dick it’s because he is in some kind of trouble and this time it’s no different because he is being sued by a man for rubbing his genitals in his face and the whole thing was caught on video.
If you skip to about 3:20 in the above clip you can see Andy climbing up beside the man in the audience and then lifting up his skirt and rubbing his crotch at the mans face at a comedy club in Dallas.
Now TMZ are reporting that the man, whos name is Robert Tucker, is now suing Andy for this incident that happened way back in December 2010. The lawsuit says that since this happened he’s “been harassed and ridiculed by the workers he supervises as well as his management peers.”
Surely if he was going to sue Andy Dick he would have done it closer to the time this all happened? Anyways he is suing for unspecified damages, which means he will probably get a shit load of cash.

Most people probably don’t know who Estella Warren is, I know I sure didn’t when I heard her name, but she is a Canadian actress/model and she sure knows how to party because last night she got arrested for a bunch of things according to TMZ.
It all went down last night just before midnight in Los Angeles when Estella was driving around under the influence, in her drunken state she crashed into three parked cars before driving away.
A police car spotted this and decided to pull her over, this didn’t settle too well with Estella because when the officer was arresting her for a DUI she resisted arrest and kicked him. Yep she kicked him. Then when they managed to settle down she was placed in handcuffs.
It didn’t all end there though because when she was in the police station and waiting to be booked she somehow managed to get out of her handcuffs and tried to make a run for it out the back door of the station although they managed to catch her.
When she was being booked for the second time they charged her with felony escape, assault to a police officer, a hit and run and of course the DUI. A police officer told TMZ that “she was really hammered.” Way to state the obvious. Her bail was set at $100,000.
I don’t know who she is, but after looking through her images on Google, I sure hope this arrest raises her profile so we get to know more of her. It’s probably wrong that I’m even thinking that.
Former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent was arrested in Tennessee yesterday on charges of assault and now more details are emerging – which includes 4 dead dogs.
Vinnie, whose real name is Vincent Cusano, was arrested by police for assault against his wife after he allegedly smacked her in the face and then she was held on $10,000 bail. TMZ reports that as well as smacking her in the face he also dragged her through a pile of broken glass and when police arrived to the scene they found 4 dead dogs lying around.
His wife, Diane, claims that the couple had an argument over another woman that Vinnie was talking to and when the argument escalated a plate got smashed and then he hit her on the face and dragged her through the glass from the plate.
Diane finally managed to escape the house and drive herself to the police station where she made the complaint against him, when police arrived to the house they found four dead dogs in sealed containers. She told them that the dogs were “killed by one of their aggressive dogs.”
Wow that is all some crazy shit going there, TMZ says that animal services have been contacted to investigate the dead dogs.
The other day Lindsay Lohan received a phone call from the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles, where she will be doing some community service, saying there was an opening for orientation if she wanted to do it, she jumped on it so quickly she obviously forgot to put on a bra as you can see in the photos.
Lindsay, who didn’t actually start the community service – just the orientation, may have gotten a bit of good news again this week because it looks like she might be able to skip on going to jail despite her 120 day sentence for robbing a necklace.
TMZ reports that instead of going to jail Lindsay could end up serving her sentence on house arrest because according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department and L.A. County Probation Dept when it comes to non-violent, misdemeanor offenses they allow this shit to happen.
We already know that Judge Stephanie Sautner was very clear in saying Lindsay will be treated like other defendants with the same sentence, and this is exactly how these people get treated.
Andy Dick is still a hot mess because he has once again been arrested for being a drunken fool in public, this time he was dining at a restaurant in Temecula, CA and he decided to get wasted.
Police reported to phone calls from the restauruant and they found Dick to be completely off his face on either alcohol and/or drugs, so they took his ass to the local jail at around 9:50 pm. He was then charged with a misdemeanor of disorderly conduct with alcohol before being let out on bail of $500.
No word on what exactly he was doing that triggered the phone call but I’m going to take a guess that he was acting his usual mess of a self. I’m not judging Andy here, in fact I’m pretty much a drunk mess every single weekend but seriously he should learn how to not get released.

Okay so this is one of those stories that TMZ has been updating every half an hour so I’m going to do my best to get it all right. Anyways, LeBron Jame‘s mother, Gloria, was arrested earlier this morning for allegedly assaulting a parking valet worker in Miami.
Glroia was partying a club LIV which is at the Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach until the early hours of the morning with some of her friends and then when she decided to leave she went to the valet area to pick up her car. Once she got there she said she couldn’t find her “fu*king keys” and then swung her bag at the valet person. A rep for the hotel spoke to People saying:
“There was an incident involving Mrs. Gloria James and an employee of our valet parking provider while she was exiting the hotel early Thursday morning,
She missed him with the bag and then decided to slap him across the face with all her force, which is when police were called and she was then arrested and taken into custody before getting released a couple of hours later. The Miami Beach Police release a statement saying that she was drunk (yeah no shit), here is what their statement reads:
“Mr. Sorel Rockfeller, a hotel valet worker, claimed he was assaulted by Ms. James, who was angered because her car was taking too long to be delivered. Several witnesses supported Mr. Rockfeller’s account of what occurred. Both Ms. James and the driver of the vehicle were initially uncooperative with the investigating officer. Ms. James was apparently intoxicated as she had bloodshot eyes and a strong odor of alcohol on her breath.” Ms. James was arrested and taken to the Miami Beach Police Department where she was processed, issued a Promise to Appear and subsequently released.”
And Rockfeller, the valet who was assaulted, is just like everybody else who has been abused or assaulted from a celebrity because he is already meeting with a bunch of lawyers to discuss legal action. Which as we all know means to see how much money he can get from them.
This isn’t the first time she has been arrested, back in 2006 she was busted on a DUI in Ohio. I can’t really blame the guy for wanting to sue because if a celebrity hit me I would lie there and take the beating then take them to the cleaners for as much as I could get from them.
