The Firsky have come up with a list of 10 celebrity couples who stupidly never had a prenup and because of that have lost money to each other.
Kelsey Grammer and Camille, his wife of 13 years, are getting a divorce and, like so many who’ve eschewed Kanye‘s advice, there was no prenuptial agreement. This is kind of a big deal for Grammer, who was the highest paid actor on television during “Frasier”‘s 11-year run, making $1.6 million an episode towards the end. Grammer is requesting that some of his earnings be declared separate property, but that will only cover the first four years of the show, leaving the last seven years up for a 50/50 split. Plus, Camille is Kelsey’s third wife, so with the history and that psychology degree (just kidding), you’d think he would’ve known better!
Screaming mad Mel Gibson and his ex-wife Robyn got divorced last year, after 28 years of marriage, about three of them separated. And since there was no prenup, Robyn was eligible for 50 percent of Mel’s estimated $900 million that he earned by the time of their separation. Which is probably what she deserves for putting up with him.
Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe seemed like a dream couple, but when they got divorced in 2005, the lack of a prenup became a problem for Reese. The actress was pulling in $20 million a movie by that point while Ryan was making around $2.5 million. Under California law, their earnings were split 50/50. On the plus side, their kids are super cute.
It’s kind of shocking that Madonna and Guy Ritchie didn’t have a prenup, considering Madonna’s worth an estimated $500 million. She ended up paying Ritchie between $76 and $92 million in the divorce. Who needs jobs when we can just get divorces?
Ellen Degeneresand Portia de Rossi are the only couple in this slideshow who haven’t gotten divorced! They got married in 2008, and though Ellen is worth around $63 million, it’s been said that she thinks prenups are “unromantic.” I hope they’re always married—they’re super cute together and make me feel warm and fuzzy about marriage.
The Dream and Christina Milian were married for about a year when they announced their separation. They’ve got a baby together now and though Milian is a self-made millionaire, The Dream has a small fortune and sans prenup, Christina is entitled to part of it.
Roseanne Barr and Tom Arnold were totally in love in 1990, and Roseanne fired her attorney for suggesting a prenup. But four years later, Arnold walked away from their divorce with $50 million … and a Roseanne tattoo on his chest!
Even though it was Larry King‘s eighth marriage this time around, he didn’t get a prenup with Shawn Southwick. So when he allegedly cheated on her with her sister, his estimated $144 million could have been split 50/50. Thank goodness they’ve reunited—for now.
When Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey got married in 2002, it probably seemed like they had equal earning potential. But when they got divorced three years later, Jessica offered Nick $1.5 million, which he rejected, and ended up forking over “far less” than half of her estimated $36 million income during the time they were married, but “significantly” more than her original offer. Who knew 98 Degrees wasn’t going to last forever?
Everyone urged Paul McCartney to get a prenup when he married Heather Mills, but when they got divorced five years in, she made about $35 million. Plus, McCartney has to pay for their daughter’s nanny and education until she’s 18-years-old which costs $70,000 a year. Maybe Mills and Guy Ritchie should get together and make a Scrooge McDuck money swimming pool?

Yesterday it was announced that Kate Winslet and her husband of seven years, Sam Mendes, were divorcing. As we all know that if you win an Oscar there is a curse, it seems for women on top of their career dying they tend to end up divorcing. Here are some of the famous ones:
Benjamin Bratt was the lucky man on Julia Roberts’ arm when she won the Oscar for her role in “Erin Brockovich†in 2001. Three months later their relationship was over—he went on to marry Talisa Soto, while she’s had three kids with husband Danny Moder. She’s yet to be nominated for a second time, so hopefully this relationship is safe.
The second actress to fall victim to this trend? Halle Berry, who won Best Actress in 2002 for “Monster’s Ball.†She’d been dating hot musician Eric Benet for years, and the two got hitched in 2001. Shortly after winning her Best Actress Oscar, Benet started cheating on her and allegedly went to sex addiction rehab. But it wasn’t enough—the couple separated in 2003 and divorced in 2005.
Infamously, Hilary Swank forgot to thank her hubby Chad Lowe, brother of Rob, when she won Best Actress in 2000 for her role as Brandon Teena in “Boys Don’t Cry.†Still, Chad seemed ultra supportive of her, and they were the ultimate down-to-earth Hollywood couple. They had just crossed the 13-years-together mark when Hilary won again in 2005, for “Million Dollar Baby,†and she made sure to thank him, first thing. The two divorced a year later. Rumors circulated that he couldn’t handle the level of success she’d found.

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise had already shocked the world by getting divorced when she won the Best Actress Oscar for portraying Virginia Woolf in “The Hours.†But she was clearly still having a hard time with the split at the time of her win. “He was huge; still is. To me, he was just Tom, but to everybody else, he is huge,†she told Ladies Home Journal. “But he was lovely to me. And I loved him. I still love him.†After rumored flings with Jude Law and Robbie Williams, Nicole allegedly gave Best Actor winner Adrien Brody her number backstage at the Oscars, and the two dated for a little while. She, of course, ended up getting remarried to Keith Urban.
Charlize Theron‘s relationship with actor Stuart Townsend seemed solid when she awed the Academy with her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos and won the Oscar. The two never officially tied the knot because they were waiting for same-sex couples to have the right to do the same. But Townsend said, “I don’t need a certificate or the state or the church to say otherwise. So no there’s no big official story on a wedding, but we are married … I consider her my wife and she considers me her husband.†Until the two sadly split up in January.
I guess that means Sandra Bullock should be worrying about her marriage to Jesse James could end up with the same faith since she won the Oscar this year.

Cheryl Cole has confirmed that she is finally separating the British version of Tiger Woods, also known as Ashley Cole, after allegations that he has cheated on her with 5 women have come out.
If you don’t know who they are.. Cheryl is a popstar and judge on The X Factor (she is also very very hot), it is rumored that Simon Cowell wants to make her a judge on the US version of the show, and Ashley is a soccer player for Chelsea Football Club.
The couple who have been married since July 2006 have had quite a rough marriage, in 2008 a hairdresser came forward and said that she had slept with the footballer. Like most women do she took him back and tried to get on with her life after a break, well over the past couple of weeks 4 more women have come forward and said they too have had affairs with him.
She then flew to Los Angeles to do some work and get a break, then it was rumored that she sent him a text message saying she is divorcing his ass and he should get out of their house. He was spotted leaving the house earlier today and she arrived back in London and drove straight to their home to confirm a statement. Then her pr company released the following statement saying…
“Cheryl Cole is separating from her husband Ashley Cole. Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult time. We have no further comment to make.”
Cheryl’s bandmates, if you didn’t know she’s in Girls Aloud, have released a statement saying that they will not be speaking on the matter. Simon Cowell has yet to comment on the situation either but everybody wants to know what he thinks.
While this is just a separation it is suspected that they will get divorced, if this happens then the divorce would be worth about £25 million. I don’t know how anybody could cheat on someone like Cheryl Cole.

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood has been arrested on suspicion of assault, Surrey police have confirmed.
Wood’s spokesman told BBC News that he was arrested after an “incident”, but declined to comment further.
A police spokesman said: “We can confirm that a 62-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with a domestic incident.”
The musician has been released on bail until a later date in January, pending “further enquiries”.
Last month the rock star was divorced by his wife Jo on the grounds of his admitted adultery, after 24 years of marriage.
The couple split in 2008 after the musician began a relationship with another woman.
In the divorce documents, which have been made public, the person with whom the star committed adultery was not named. However, Wood’s relationship with Ekaterina Ivanova, 20, was widely covered in the tabloid press.
In July 2008, the guitarist was admitted to a rehabilitation centre for help with his long-established alcohol addiction.
