Ivanka Trump has wed the son of another major New York area real estate family.
The daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump married Jared Kushner at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., on Sunday. The Orthodox Rabbi Haskel Lookstein performed the ceremony.
Trump, 27, is the co-host of “Celebrity Apprentice,” a vice president at her father’s real estate company, and has a jewelry company.
The 28-year-old Kushner is publisher of The New York Observer and an executive at the Kushner Companies, which owns and manages commercial real estate and apartments.
Kushner’s father was a prominent Democratic political donor who pleaded guilty to campaign and tax law violations.
Wedding guests included ex-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Barbara Walters and actress Emmy Rossum.
The bride was looking forward to “dancing like a maniac with all of my friends,” according to a recent post to her Twitter account.
Trump, 27, who got engaged on July 15, told Brides.com,
“I always envisioned myself having a traditional and elegant wedding.”

Donald Trump‘s 27-year-old daughter announced her engagement to New York Observer owner Jared Kushner.
She simply said “I got engaged last night…truly the happiest day of my life!!!”
The two have been dating for two years but broke up for some time last year because she wasn’t Jewish and he wanted her to be, she gave in and converted herself.
Donald was apparently not too happy at the time because Jared’s father Charles Kushner was in jail back in 2005 for violations of tax and campaign-finance laws, Donald is supposed to be happy now.
Talking about her relationship Ivanka said “Jared and I are very similar in that we’re very ambitious. That’s what makes it so amazing to be in a relationship with someone who is supportive of that, I’m happy for him when he is in the office working late. I know how good that feels when you sit down and return e-mails.”
Congrats to the couple I guess, but if your other half makes you convert your religion is it really love?
The request was prompted by an April episode of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” that the group said was demeaning.
In the episode, contestants created a detergent ad called “Jesse James and the Midgets.” The contestants, including Joan Rivers, suggested bathing little people in the detergent and hanging them to dry.
Calls to the FCC and “Celebrity Apprentice” host Donald Trump were not immediately answered Sunday. NBC Universal representatives didn’t immediately respond to e-mail messages, and the telephone rang unanswered at their Los Angeles office.

Less than a month after being told by Donald Trump that she can keep her Miss California crown, Carrie Prejean was fired on Wednesday.
K2 Productions, the independent producers of the Miss California USA pageant, under license from Miss Universe, cited continued breach of contract issues as the reason for Prejean’s firing. [click here to read the press release]
“This was a business decision, based solely on contract violations,” Keith Lewis, executive director of K2 Productions, said in the documents.
“After our press conference in New York we had hoped we would be able to forge a better working relationship. However, since that time it has become abundantly clear that Carrie has no desire to fulfill her obligations under our contract and work together.â€
Prejean came under fire for her answer to a question about gay marriage two months ago in the Trump-owned Miss USA pageant, in which she was the runner-up. After the pageant, Prejean was continuously attacked as she defended her belief that gays and lesbians should not be given the right to marry in California. She became embroiled in more controversy when racy pictures of her were published that some construed as violations of her Miss California contract.
Trump came to her defense in a May 12 press conference attended by Prejean and Keith Lewis, calling her answer to the question “honest” and saying “we have determined … that the pictures taken are fine.” He allowed her to continue on as Miss California.
But it was Trump who gave the final OK to fire her.
“I told Carrie she needed to get back to work and honor her contract with the Miss California Organization and I gave her the opportunity to do so.” Trump said in the same documents.
“Unfortunately it just doesn’t look like it is going to happen and I offered Keith my full support in making this decision.”
Representatives for K2, Prejean, and Trump were not available for immediate comment. First runner-up Tami Farrell will assume the role and responsibilities of Miss California USA.

In the wake of Donald Trump‘s decision to not take away Miss California USA Carrie Prejean‘s title after semi-nude photos of her showed up online, former Miss Nevada USA Katie Rees, who was stripped of her title in 2006 following a similar incident, is… well, let’s just say she isn’t happy.
“An accurate word to describe me is irate. If you’re semi-nude, you’re semi-nude and it says so in the contract. And [Prejean] broke the contact… She should’ve had her crown taken away just like mine… For her crown not to be taken away is absolutely outrageous.â€
“The fact is Carrie purposely posed nude for these pictures. I did not. I was a teenager who accidentally was out having a good time with her girlfriends and was unguarded… I just wonder if Mr. Trump knows what he put me through. What I’ve gone through these past two years. The strong woman that I’ve had to become to fight for myself.“
And rather than just cry over spilled milk, Katie says, “I am speaking with my lawyer right now.â€
Carrie Prejean must have a really, really bad memory — because TMZ uncovered a brand new set of topless photos “biblically correct” Miss California took before she applied for the crown.

Donald Trump will decide today whether or not he’ll give Carrie the heave ho.
Last night, Donald canceled his appearance on Larry King’s show, after stories surfaced that another buyer is purchasing Ed’s home, which was on the brink of foreclosure. Last week Trump said he’d buy the house and let Ed live in it for life.
Now Donald says someone came in and outbid him, but here’s the deal … the guy who’s buying it is moving in, so where will poor Ed go? Why couldn’t Donald up the ante? Was this all for publicity?
Trump announced Thursday he would save the television personality’s Beverly Hills mansion from foreclosure by buying it for an undisclosed amount and leasing it to McMahon.
The developer told the Los Angeles Times he doesn’t know McMahon personally, but acted out of compassion because helping out “would be an honor.”
McMahon, 85, who was Johnny Carson’s sidekick on the “Tonight” show for three decades, has not worked for about 18 months because of a neck injury. He defaulted on $4.8 million in mortgage loans with Countrywide Financial Corp.
McMahon’s spokesman, Howard Bragman, told The Associated Press that paperwork on the sale had not been completed but that McMahon was “very optimistic” the deal would go through.
“When I was at the Wharton School of Business I’d watch him every night,” Trump told the Times. “How could this happen?”
McMahon bought the six-bedroom, five-bathroom, 7,000-square-foot house in January 1990. The home was listed at $4.6 million last weekend — down from a peak price of $7 million.
I was totally waiting for SOMEONE to help McMahon. It saddened me that somebody as iconic as McMahon was even facing foreclosure — I’m surprised that somebody didn’t step up to the plate sooner.
Yes, “the Donald” is probably doing this for personal reasons, like say…publicity or to make a buck — but at least Ed will benefit as a result.

Dayana Mendoza was crowned Miss Universe, in a pageant dominated by Latin beauties. The 22-year-old girl was one of the favorites early on in the beauty contest, held in Vietnam.
Dayana proved her sense of humor while answering gracefully to her question regarding men having it easier in life. She replied,
“men think that the best way to reach a point is a straight line, but we women take some curves and detours to fix everything right”.
As history repeated itself, Miss USA fell during the night gown competition, just as it happened to last yearÂ’s contestant, Rachel Smith, during the 2007 Miss Universe pageant held in Mexico City.
Crystle Stewart quickly stood up, applauded along with the audience and with a smile, continued to model as it nothing had happened.

How bizarre is it, that for two years in a row our contestant falls down. I bet Donald Trump is involved somehow.
Donald Trump likes sticking his mouth in other people’s business.
The ‘Apprentice’ boss, who famously feuded with Rosie O’Donnell, is taking on another Hollywood woman. This time it’s ‘Get Smart’ star Anne Hathaway, MSNBC reports.
Trump thinks it was wrong of Hathaway to leave her boyfriend Rafaello Follieri just days before he was arrested for fraud.
“She hasn’t remained very loyal to him, has she?” Trump tells Access Hollywood.
“So when he had plenty of money, she liked him, but then after that, not as good, right?” he added.
Trump adds his thoughts on the disgraced businessman, who lived in one of Trump’s buildings.
“I’ve heard he’s very nice,†Trump said. “According to the help, no problems. But he’s got himself in a jam.”
Follieri, an Italian businessman who dated Hathaway for over 4 years, was arrested in June on charges he posed as a representative of the Vatican to fleece wealthy investors in a real estate company that sought to buy and redevelop Roman Catholic Church property.
Bail was set at $21 million. Federal prosecutors said they have “overwhelming” evidence that he improperly spent up to $6 million from investors, much of it on a lavish lifestyle, including privately chartered jet travel with his girlfriend and others, expensive meals and clothing and that apartment in one of Trump’s buildings.
