Yesterday I posted about Danielle Staub‘s new career as a stripper but that career is now over and she is now seeking help for her psychological problems, she confirms to People.
The former Real Housewives of New Jersey says that her problems root back to childhood sexual abuse she experienced, she also says she was “coaxed into signing up for that stripper job. Here is what she tells People:
“I have addictions with love and low self-esteem, and I need help! My low self-esteem derived from childhood sexual abuse has messed with my mind and self-worth, and over the years I thought about getting help but pushed it deep into the depths of denial, for years I have had the suicide hotline on my cell phone and would like nothing more than to free myself from this constant pressure. Seeing how I have hurt myself and my family this time, I can no longer push it behind me.”
She is apparently seeking the help from Dr. Drew Pinsky, I’m wondering if this means a new television show together seeing as how they both love the fame?

Alice in Chains’ former bassist Mike Starr was found dead at a house in Salt Lake City yesterday, the cause of death is unknown but it’s looking likely it was from drugs. He was just 44.
Mike starred in the third season of Celebrity Rehab back in 2009 and came through sober for 6 months but that didn’t last too long and then last month he was caught with Xanax and Opana last month in Salt Lake City. Mike’s former bandmates Jerry Cantrell and Sean Kinney issued a statement to People saying:
“Jerry and Sean are mourning the loss of their friend and ask that the media respect their privacy – and the privacy of Mike’s family – during this difficult time. Their thoughts & prayers are with Mike’s family.”
Dr. Drew Pinsky took to his Twitter and said “Devastating to hear of Mike Starr succumbing to his illness. So very sad. Our prayers are with his family.”
Mike’s roommate has told TMZ that a few hours before his death Mike was mixing up methadone and anxiety medication, he was taking the methadone to try get sober again. His roommate said “Mike was a beautiful person who was fighting to stay sober … I am going to miss him greatly.”

Dr. Drew Pinsky may spend most of his time treating troubled patients on ‘Celebrity Rehab,’ but it was the good doctor himself who needed some help from medical professionals after contracting a bacterial infection on a recent vacation.
Pinsky, who left on January 8th for a second honeymoon with wife Susan at a “secret destination,” came down with a case of Leptospirosis while away, according to his Twitter.
Following the honeymoon, which also celebrated the couple’s 20th wedding anniversary, he tweeted, “Spent the night as a patient in the hospital. Seems I may have picked up Leptospirosis in the West Indies.This is just brutal.”
Leptospirosis, which is generally caused through contact with water contaminated by animal urine, can cause a high fever, vomiting and other flu-like symptoms, according to the CDC. Despite the unpleasant nature of the illness, it can be easily treated with a course of antibiotics.
A clean bill of health couldn’t come sooner for Pinsky, who is scheduled to begin hosting duties on his new HLN show this spring.
