Joan Rivers says FOX News can “go f**k themselves” after canceling her Thursday appearance on the network’s morning show for what she claims is retaliation for some biting comments she made about FOX contributor Sarah Palin.
Why so riled up, Joan?
It all started when the loud-mouthed legend told TMZ over the weekend that critics were “right” to blame Sarah Palin for the tragedy in Tucson, Ariz. Reports surfaced on Wednesday that FOX heard the diss and nixed Joan and daughter Melissa’s visit on ‘FOX & Friends.’
“We get a call this morning,” Melissa told me on the set of my HDNet show. “You’re canceled on FOX because of what you said about Sarah Palin.”
The top-rated news network denies that Joan’s comments had anything to do with the cancellation, rather, the morning was simply overbooked.
Joan says that she’s willing to take a lie detector test to prove FOX canned her over her Palin comments, which also included calling the ex-governor “stupid and a threat” and blasting her use of the term “blood libel” in a video statement on Jan. 12.
Asked whether she’ll accept an invitation to come back to ‘FOX & Friends,’ Joan went hardcore, saying they can “go f**k themselves.”
Ellen DeGeneres has not had a very good time with American Idol, and has been pretty vocal about it to FOX execs for the past few months.
With Simon Cowell leaving the show, FOX was not pleased about the prospect of losing Ellen too, and told her that she would need to stay on until they found a replacement. FOX was in talks with Jessica Simpson briefly, but has locked down Jennifer Lopez to replace DeGeneres.
Nobody knows yet who will replace Simon Cowell, and everyone involved in the show really wants Elton John. It’s rumored that Sir Elton is asking for too much money and has touring commitments that can’t be changed, however.
Here is FOX’s official statement:
Ellen DeGeneres has decided to bow out from her role as a judge on AMERICAN IDOL next season. DeGeneres served as a judge during the ninth season of IDOL, the No. 1 hit series on television.
“A couple months ago, I let FOX and the AMERICAN IDOL producers know that this didn’t feel like the right fit for me,” said DeGeneres. “I told them I wouldn’t leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next. It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for. I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I loved the experience working on IDOL and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be.”
“We love Ellen and understand and support her decision to bow out of IDOL,” said Peter Rice, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Networks Group. “We were fortunate to receive the humor, energy and love for talent that she brought to the show.”
“It was a joy to work with Ellen,” added Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “She brought an incredible spirit to IDOL and was a great new addition to the team. While we’re saddened by her decision, we are very appreciative that she gave us ample notice so that we could work through it together.”
“I loved Ellen’s passion for the artists and her nurturing skills,” said IDOL creator and executive producer Simon Fuller. “She brought honesty and optimism to our judging panel and I will miss her greatly.”
“We will miss Ellen, she has been the consummate professional throughout her time on the show, and she’ll always be part of the AMERICAN IDOL family,” added Cecile Frot-Coutaz, IDOL executive producer.
AMERICAN IDOL is created and executive-produced by Simon Fuller, founder of 19 Entertainment; and executive-produced by Cecile Frot-Coutaz, CEO, FremantleMedia North America, Inc. and Ken Warwick, Executive Producer, FremantleMedia North America, Inc.

The last we heard from Bones actor David Boreanaz he admitted cheating on his wife of 9 years, Jaime Bergman, now he is being sued by an actress for sexual harassment.
Gloria Allred represented the woman that David cheated with back then and now she is once again going to meet him in court because she is representing Kristina Hagan (the woman in the photo above), the woman who alleges he harassed her while she was an extra on Bones.
The lawsuit claims that on August 21, 09, he started to send her sexually inappropriate texts and then in September they were driving in his car together when he started to tell her he was the boss and “could make things happen” for her. What a typical Hollywood come on line, she should have known there and then.
He then parked his car and “attempted to kiss her and touch her breasts but she pushed him away. [He] unzipped his pants, pulled out his penis and began stroking it until he ejaculated.” When September 29 came around he took her into his trailer and yet again tried to kiss and fondle her, then he “masturbated in front of her.”
She also claims that David repeatedly told Hagan he was looking for a good acting role for her but of course never got her shit.
I’m not defending David Boreanaz or anything, if this is true then he deserves to have the book thrown at him, but seriously how stupid and desperate must this Kristina Hagan chick be? He used every typical Hollywood pick up line in the book, then after the text messages and first incident of fondling her while jacking off – she should not have gone back to him for a third time.

This afternoon CNN aired a live report about FOX and ABCbeing accused of discriminating against “curvy” models and not playing Lane Bryant‘s new sexy ad until later timeslots. Normally, there would be nothing wrong with that, except I’m guessing they found their copy of the commercial from YouTube.
The original ad showed a plus sized model bopping around in her underwear until she received a calendar reminder about a “lunch date with Dan”, so she throws a coat on over her undies and heads out the door. The version that CNN showed on live TV at 2:20PM Eastern time today replaced the calendar reminder with this gem:
Conan O’Brien and Fox are getting closer to completing a deal to bring the floppy-haired host back to TV, but concerns from affiliates may derail the entire deal.
Fox has already gotten concessions from Conan’s camp, including an agreement to cut his salary and lower production costs. But Conan is insisting that Fox guarantee that all stations across the country will air his show. This requires consent from the affiliates, who are hesitant because they will lose money if they have to replace episodes of Seinfeld and The Simpsons with a talk show.
There are a few other sticking points in the negotiations, including Conan’s desires to own the show rather than work as an employee for Fox and have it start at 11 p.m., 35 minutes before Letterman and Leno. But those issues will likely be settled easily and the only thing standing in the way of the world once again enjoying Conan’s stupid little dances will be those evil affiliates.
Give him his damn show!

I don’t know who I dislike more, James Cameron or Glenn Beck, but it seems they have a ton of hate towards each other.
James was doing some sort of press the other day when he was asked his opinions on Glen, I thought this was kind of random but apparently Glen called James the anti-Christ over his 2007 documentary The Lost Tomb of Jesus. As soon as Glen’s name was brought up James went on a rant saying…
“Glenn Beck is a fucking asshole. I’ve met him. He called me the anti-Christ and not about ‘Avatar.’ He hadn’t even seen ‘Avatar’ yet. I don’t know if he has seen it.”
He then backpedaled for a little bit before continuing on, “I think, you know what, he may or may not be an asshole, but he certainly is dangerous, and I’d love to have a dialogue with him. He’s dangerous because his ideas are poisonous, I couldn’t believe when he was on CNN. I thought, what happened to CNN? Who is this guy? Who is this madman? And then of course he wound up on Fox News, which is where he belongs, I guess.”
Maybe we can throw them both in a ring and let them fight to the death?
Did you see this years Teen Choice Awards? If so then you may have seen Miley Cyrus doing a little bit of pole dancing while singing “Party In The USA”
During the performance Miley jumped on top of an ice cream cart and then on a pole attached, showed off her pole dancing skills.
This as you can imagine has gone down badly with critics and parents of her young fans who are all giving out hell.
Wendi Fischer, a child psychologist, says “she’s sending this message that this is ‘OK’ to do, and I don’t think it is OK to do, Miley’s only 16. Why is she rushing it?”
But like Us Magazine’s senior editor, Ian Drew, points out – we should have all seen this happening. He says, “she already has this risque image, so it really wasn’t much of a stretch, that’s how Britney Spears took off. She was the good girl gone bad, and it looks to be working for Miley as well.”
Fox (who broadcast the TCA’s) and Miley’s record label both refused to comment on it. Disney however said “Disney Channel won’t be commenting on that performance, although parents can rest assured that all content presented on the Disney Channel is age-appropriate for our audience – kids 6-14 – and consistent with what our brand values are.”
Ed Norwick, who owns stripclub Scores in New York said “while Miley did show off some skills, we at SCORES cannot encourage this kind of behavior for women under the legal age.”
So what do you think, is it all fine for Miley Cyrus to be doing this or is she sending the wrong message to her fans? Either way, I agree with Ian Drew - we all should have expected something like this.
I hope you’ve had your breakfast because this picture of Victoria Beckham almost made me throw up in my mouth.
This is Victoria greeting fans at the first American Idol Season 9 auditions in Denver on Friday, no she is not replacing Paula Abdul… she is just one of many judges who will take Paula’s place throughout the new season.
As for how she got on a source said “it didn’t go too well, She tried to hard to be ‘nice,’ but came off as icy and wooden.”
What else did they expect her to be like? By the way, Idol bosses paid Victoria Beckham over $250,000 for the one day of auditions.
Well after all the speculation about whether or not she would be returning to American Idol, it is now official that Paula Abdul is finished with the show.
“With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to idol. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all.. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1become an international phenomenon. What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me. It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month. I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all.”
While on his morning radio show KISS FM earlier today, Ryan Seacrest said he was shocked and that he is bummed she isn’t returning.
Fox TV released a statement saying “Paula Abdul has been an important part of the American Idol family over the last eight seasons and we are saddened that she has decided not to return to the show, while Paula will not be continuing with us, she’s a tremendous talent and we wish her the best.”
Sources also say that she wanted a 30% raise and was negotiating a 8 figure deal to return to the show which now sees Seacrest, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi all flying to Denver for the first auditions to the ninth season on Thursday.
Just so you know there is rumors that this is all a publicity stunt and Paula Abdul will indeed be back.
Appearing on Fox News, financial analyst Uri Man seemed to be full of kind words for anchor Ainsley Earhardt.
So much so that she ended the segment asking,
“Is he hitting on me on live TV? Did that just happen?”
Man, author of Getting Good Jobs In Tough Times, was appearing as a business and financial analyst during a segment about unemployment in the U.S. In the clip, he begins by complimenting Earnhardt on her yellow dress, and later reveals he has researched where she went to college.
Man is vice-president of real-estate development with the NHL’s Panthers, and appeared recently on the Bravo TV reality show Millionaire Matchmaker, which helps rich bachelors find the women of their dreams.
