‘Glee’ star Heather Morris is featured in a new Tyler Shields photoshoot and it’s definitely causing a fuss with fans of the actress and hit TV show.
As you can see in the photo Morris is sporting a black eye in the photoshoot and she is also tied up using a wire from an iron.
Shields’ website says “Even Barbie bruises. We have been talking about shooting for a long time and we finally made it happen! Some magic, irons, and bruises later it was complete.”
This isn’t going down too well with fans though because one commenter says “so wait… we’re glamorizing bruises/abuse now?”
“There is absolutely nothing new or revelatory about pics like this … They just perpetuate images of battered women. Can you please explain why you’re so stuck in the dark ages?” says another commenter.
Speaking to TooFab the photographer defends the photoshoot saying “It was something we both wanted to do, a bruised up Barbie. In no way were we promoting domestic violence. We both loved the idea and we both love the photos.”
Check out the thumbnails below and video to judge for yourself if you think these photos are appropriate or not. I am kind of on the fence about them, on one hand I think they are really inappropriate but on the other it’s Tyler Shields what else should we expect?
Yesterday the 2011 Emmy Awards nominations were released and missing from the nomination list was FX’s ‘Son’s of Anarchy’, this didn’t settle too well with creator Kurt Sutter who took to his Twitter account to unleash a rant about his unhappiness.
The day before the nominations were released Kurt wrote on his Twitter that he doesn’t think he or his wife, Katey Sagal, will be nominated. He said “I will tell you now, the day before, Katey will not be nominated. SOA will never crack the golden lining. Too dirty, too bloody, too pulpy.”
He was certainly right because none of them got a nomination so he immediately took to his account again and started off by saying the worst thing about not getting nominated is that his wife promised him a threesome. He said “The worse part of not getting an emmy nod. katey promised me a threesome if she won. now i have to settle for me, her and the shaved bunny.”
Then he went on to say that the “best part of not getting an emmy nod. now i don’t have to pretend i give a s**t about the profiteering douchebag academy … because you know if we were nominated i’d be all humble and blowing smoke up their asses. now i can stay true to myself and just be a d**k.”
Then he went on to put up a couple of jokes, the first saying “these two academy member walk into a bar. one orders a beer. then they both die because they’re so fucking old.” The second one was “saw two academy members on the gold course. one asked the other what club to use. then they both died because they were so fucking old,” and finally “if my mom and dad were alive this emmy snub would kill them. that’s not true, they were too old to understand my show. just like the academy.”
After this he decided to take a shot at Glee, which received a few nominations, he said “F–k glee. hate those annoying, ‘please accept me for who I am’, singing brats. there, I said it. are you happy?” But then he started to backtrack by saying he loves Glee creator, Ryan Murphy. “He’s always very cool with me. love glee too. just tired of all the j**z piling up at its feet,” is what he said about that.
The backtracking didn’t stop there though because he said the whole thing was a joke, he said “you do know that i’m really okay with no noms right? if i was really upset, i wouldn’t be ranting. i’d be plotting. i’m all about the love,” followed by “those who got the joke, laughed. those who didn’t, published a story. so sad that greedy media whores must turn good fun into nasty business.”
Do you think he was joking the whole time or do you think he was genuinely pissed off and then decided to backtrack?
If your a Glee fan, or as they like to be called a Gleek, then you should brace yourself because it’s been announced that three of their main stars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer will not be returning for season 4 of the show.
Ryan Murphy, the executive producer of Glee, just told The Hollywood Reporter that the three stars, who play Rachel, Finn and Kurt, will graduate at the end of the upcoming third season of the show and will not be back for the fourth season.
That means that if you like this show and like those characters you still at least have one more season to watch with them walking around the halls of McKinley High and randomly singing, and destroying, songs. Ryan said:
“You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic, or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year. We’ve never done anything by the book. We made that decision and I involved Chris and Lea and they thought that was a good idea. They both trust the writing and trust me and felt that it would be great to have an open and closed experience for them to go out while they were on top.”
He also went on to say that while he has discussed it with Colfer and Michele he hasn’t spolen about any of this with Monteith, well I guess he knows now considering it’s all over the internet.
Murphy then went on to add that the whole of season 3, which returns on Sept. 20 on Fox, will be building up to the graduation and he noted that these three characters aren’t the only ones who are facing the chop.
What do you think about this? Is it good they are being realistic, well aside from the whole bursting into song thing?
Ever since Glee became a huge success and Lea Michele became a household name there has been stories about her acting like a complete and utter to bitch to people, well according to new reports she gave another example of how much of a C U Next Tuesday she can be at Coachella on Saturday.
E! Online says Lea checked into the VIP area at Coachelle with Chord Overstreet and Harry Shum Jr, when they got there Harry decided he didn’t want to make a big fuss so he decided to try pass himself off as just a normal guy to two girls. A source says
“Harry introduced himself to two girls as Jerry from San Luis Obispo and said he was unemployed, he girls played along even though they knew who he was. Lea started laughing and imitated her in a high-pitched voice, she was totally mocking her for no reason.”
I know this isn’t exactly the biggest bitch thing to do in the world, hell we all make fun of people all the time but considering these girls were two fans of the show she should show a bit of respect towards them instead of mocking them. Chord and Harry apparently ditched her later on to hang out with Mark Salling, another cast memeber from Glee. I can’t really blame them either, if she acted like that infront of me I would be tempted to throw her drink on her.
Ever since “Glee” star Lea Michele appeared with some of her co-stars on the cover of “GQ” showing off some skin, parents have had their panties in a bunch.
We really don’t see what the big deal is, but some mothers are having an epic hissy fit that Lea is showing some of her cleavage area. Oh noes!
I guess if mothers are completely against the cover of this magazine, then perhaps they shouldn’t purchase it. Jeez, do we really need someone governing what can be placed on magazine shelves?
These peeved parents say Michele, as an actress who plays a high school student on a TV show watched largely by teen and pre-teen viewers, has a responsibility to their kids to keep things a little more buttoned up.
“I think Lea Michele is sending the wrong message. She plays such a ‘good girl’ on ‘Glee’ and a lot of kids look up to her persona. Then she poses very provocatively on two magazine covers which makes my almost-13-year-old son very confused and offended,” said New York mom Kim Trefcer. “ I find it frustrating as a parent who is trying to teach right from wrong to their kids and then you have things like this happen which is showing middle schoolers things like sex sells and all that goes along with that.”
I don’t know what the fuss is about, really. She’s 24-years-old and only plays a High School kid on television. People should know that television shows aren’t real, not even “Jersey Shore”. It’s all scripted, so if these parents are getting offended, they should merely close their eyes and move on to “People” magazine instead.
A spokesperson for Hearst said, “We’re thrilled to feature Lea Michele on the March cover of Cosmopolitan magazine and think she looks stunning. Michele is a grown woman and Cosmopolitan is a magazine for adults.”
And there you have it! Well said.
We’re thrilled to feature Lea Michele on the March cover of Cosmopolitan magazine and think she looks stunning. Michele is a grown woman and Cosmopolitan is a magazine is for adults,” the rep told FOX411.

Slash has done an interview for Entertainment Weekly in which he talks about going on tour with Ozzy Osbourne, and other stuff that doesn’t really interest me. He was asked how he would feel about Glee doing a Guns N’ Roses themed episode and here is what he said…
“Actually, we got asked about that once already but it got turned down. In the current climate of what’s going on in entertainment these days, I try to be more optimistic than negative because it’s really easy to get negative about it, but I draw the line at Glee. Glee is worse than Grease and Grease is bad enough…. When Grease came out I was like, “Oh, c’mon, give me a break.” Actually, I look at Grease now and think: Between High School Musical and Glee, Grease was a brilliant work of art.”
I couldn’t agree more with him on Glee. But when it comes to Grease, as cheesy as it is, I love it.

The 2011 Golden Globes Awards took place in Hollywood last night and there was a few surprises with the winners list, mainly The Social Network taking the award for Best Motion Picture instead of Black Swan. You can see the full winners list after jump because I don’t really want to talk about. Here is what I want to talk about:
Yes, Ricky Gervais‘s opening monologue which he pretty much went in on everyone in Hollywood and I loved every second of it. I’m sure there is probably a number of hits out on his head today.
The best one for me is when he decided to crack a joke at Tom Cruise and John Travolta, after saying Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor played two gay characters in “I Love You Philip Morris”, he then said “the complete opposite of some famous Scientologists, then.”
It was a good start to the show and really the only bit that I cared about, if these celebrities can’t take being made fun of then they are definitely in the wrong business.
