Keith Brown Pleads Guilty to Sexually Abusing His Daughters

On Thursday, Keith Brown — the father of sibling piano act the 5 Browns — pled guilty to sexually abusing his daughters when they were children. The girls account for three of the five Browns in the group. Brown is looking at a sodomy charge and two counts of sexual abuse.

According to E! Online, police charged Brown on Feb. 10 and while the victims remained nameless because they were minors at the time the crimes were said to have taken place, Brown’s daughters — now aged 26-32 — have all stepped forward in acknowledging and supporting the allegations.

Sources familiar with the family told the Salt Lake City Tribune that Brown’s daughters agreed to cooperate with the prosecution after learning that their father was seeking to revive his career as a manager for child acts and musicians.

As if all this wasn’t tough enough for the family this week, on Valentine’s Day, Brown and his wife crashed his Porsche into a creek … after driving off a canyon embankment into a 300-foot drop. No joke. Both were listed in critical condition; meanwhile, the investigations into his charges continue.

In a show of strength, the 5 Browns have vowed to continue onward with their group, with upcoming dates scheduled in Utah, North Carolina and Virginia.

Phil Spector Found Guilty of Murder

A jury today found music producer Phil Spector guilty of second-degree murder.

He stood accused for the death of Lana Clarkson, 40, who was found shot to death in his home in Alhambra in 2003. His first trial in 2007 ended in jury deadlock.

A sentencing hearing, which could lead to at least 18 years in jail, has been set for May 29th.

The 69-year-old Spector has been awarded two Grammy Awards and in 1989, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

“In the 1960s, he became famous as the man behind the ‘Wall of Sound,’ an instrumentally dense swirl of melody and percussion underlying such tunes as the Ronettes’ ‘Be My Baby,’ the Righteous Brothers’ ‘You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling’ and Ike and Tina Turner’s ‘River Deep, Mountain High,’” wrote CNN of his biography.

“He later produced the Beatles’ “Let It Be” album, John Lennon’s “Imagine” and the Ramones’ ‘End of the Century.’”

Boy George Is Guilty

OJ Simpson isn’t the only person going to the slammer, Boy George (real name George O’Dowd) will also be going to prison after he was found guilty of false imprisonment.

Late last month I posted that George was brought to court on charges of false imprisonment of male escort, Audun Carlsen, well today he was found guilty by a London jury.

To make the whole thing short, Carlsen accused George of handcuffing him up in his London home and then whipping him with chains.

George denied the charges against him but said Carlsen had hacked into his laptop and stolen/tampered with photographs on it. He admitted to handcuffing the escort to his bed while he “investigated” the laptop.

Sentencing is scheduled for January 16, until then he is released on bail, the judge said some jail time was “probable” but he is unlikely to get the maximums sentence of life in prison.

Boy George locks up a male escort, whips him with chains and then gets told jail time is probable – what kind of punishment do you think he should get?

Sandra Bullock Stalker Served Three Years Probation

Sandra Bullock can breathe a little bit easier now because her stalker has been sentenced to three years of probation.

Following the day after Paula Abdul‘s stalker killed herself outside the stars home, Marcia Valentine pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of stalking Bullock.

The actress obtained a restraining order back in May 2007 after testifying that her stalker had, on five occasions, left palm fronds adorned with “weird signs” and “pieces of animal fur” in her yard.

However a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon was dropped against Valentine, she had tried to run over Bullock’s husband, Jesse James, twice with her car after he went outside to write down her license plate number.

O.J. Simpson Found Guilty of Armed Robbery and Kidnapping

O.J. Simpson has made lots of mistakes in his life … some allegedly and some actually quantifiable within a court of law.

The latest “real” mistake though, is just an example of Juice messing with the karma that has been so kind to him (lost Heisman trophies or no, he still got off on the Brown – Goldman thing).

That’s because, while heading towards the conclusion of his Las Vegas armed robbery trial, O.J. planned an acquittal party. I wish I was joking.

Simpson associate Thomas Riccio, after an in-studio interview Friday with radio talk-show host Anthony Crivello and retired Las Vegas police detective Phil Ramos, invited them to join O.J.’s entourage at an undisclosed location.

“That’s how certain he was,” Crivello said during an interview on Saturday, a day after Simpson and co-defendant Clarence “C.J.” Stewart were found guilty on all counts, including armed robbery and kidnapping with a deadly weapon.

“He’s been predicting a hung jury,” said Ramos, who attended the trial and provided expert commentary on Crivello’s show, “The Sicilians” on Fox Sports Radio KBAD-AM, 920.

Maybe that prediction just stemmed from prior experience? Who knows.

What I do know is that you never plan a party like that so early, because it always comes back to bite you, like Simpson now.

It’s pretty phenomenal though, and a testament to the type of person that Juice really is, that he actually went this far. In other words, we see (I think) O.J. as some bungling murderer in the Naked Gun fashion, but in reality, he’s an incredibly cocky criminal who is finally getting his come uppin’s.
