Hot Toys is releasing a 1/6th scale figure of Heath Ledger as ‘The Joker’ in “Bank Robber” mode.
The figure stands 12-inches tall, features 32-points of articulation, and comes with a choice of two removable heads, one with a huge grin, the other with the slicked back hair.
Accessories include a removable clown mask, handgun, a bigger gun, duffle bag, smoke and fragmentation grenades, playing cards, gotham city money and more.
They even have little mini hand grenades — this toy is made for adults.
Even though I doubt that she realizes what she’s doing, Matilda Ledger appears to have picked up on Michelle Williams and Heath Ledgers love of the paparazzi.
Michelle and her little darling grabbed an early morning coffee in New York City’s Brooklyn on Wednesday.

Mary-Kate Olsen has refused to be interviewed by federal investigators probing the accidental drug death of her close friend Heath Ledger unless she receives immunity from prosecution.
Olsen’s lawyer has repeatedly rebuffed attempts by the feds to question Olsen, who was the first person called after her masseuse discovered Ledger’s body in his SoHo apartment in January.
Frustrated federal officials could obtain a grand-jury subpoena to compel the funky “Full House” actress to tell them whatever she knows about the “Dark Knight” star’s behavior, his possible drug use and the events of that fateful morning, according to sources.
Probers have interviewed everyone connected to Ledger and his death, including his doctors, the masseuse, bodyguards, housekeepers, business associates and even the mother of his 2-year-old daughter, Matilda, his “Brokeback Mountain” co-star Michelle Williams.
The source explains that Olsen would be the final witness they need to conclude their investigation into where he got his drugs and medicines.
Just when you think it’s all over and Heath can finally rest — I wonder why Mary-Kate is seeking immunity — what could she possibly say that would justify her own prosecution?
In Day 11, The Dark Knight surpassed Iron Man to become 2008’s highest grossing film plus the superhero sequel cracked the all-time Top 20 in the process.
Warner Bros. generated $10.5M on Monday to raise its unbelievable cume to $324.3M which was more than enough to soar past Marvel’s metal man which has taken in $315M to date since its early May bow. Knight also climbed to number 18 on the all-time domestic blockbusters chart just ahead of Shrek the Third which banked $321M last summer.
Monday’s gross was down 57% from last Monday’s towering $24.5M haul. Given its current pace, Knight might be able to reach the $350M mark by the end of its second week of release. That would mean a jump up to number 13 on the all-time list ahead of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers by the time the third weekend begins.
As if it hasn’t broken enough records, The Dark Knight also became the top-grossing blockbuster in Warner Bros. history surpassing the $317.6M of 2001’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Ticket prices were lower back then, but the new Batman adventure will still be able to zoom past the boy wizard in admissions in the coming days.
The Joker and friends are on course to boost the cume to roughly $390M by the end of this coming weekend and then blast through the $400M mark mid-next week.
“I feel like I have no privacy. Just because people are seeing something that was meant to be between me and her. That’s the biggest reason that I’m, you know, trying to stop the tape from being released.
I’ve been, for the past two weeks, three weeks probably, spending a lot of money to fight this. I have my lawyer, and he’s doing a great job.
I broke up with her in the middle of June; it was something probably to do with that. It was basically when she decided to give the tape away. I highly doubt that she thought that would get me back with her. Ransom or something.”
If all of this isn’t bad enough, the woman still lives in his house! Can you say psycho?
“She’s still in the house. I saw her when I left today, and she was calling me names and stuff…so I can’t get away from it.”
I think he should call the police and have her removed from the house — then sue her!

The Dark Knight Batman movie is one of the most anticipated films coming this summer. The movie hype has been the work of some clever marketing. WhySoSerious was the site that launched a game wide hunt for what most were hoping would be a sneak peek at the film. Several cities had specific instructions that led them on a goose chase. They were led to a raffle that left many people walking away with nothing but frustration. A select few did see the 2nd trailer for the next Batman film. Hence the leak.
Check it out now before Warner Brothers swoops in and removes it. Just in case it is removed here is another movie trailer in which I am in love with. I am a slut for Seth Rogan, and the summer film Pineapple Express looks like it is packed with hilarity. I am not a James Franco fan, but this might have redeeming qualities.
There is an uncensored version on the site mentioned on the trailer. It is worth taking a peek at.
The next Batman movie, The Dark Knight, has an eager audience torn. With the tragic passing of one of it’s stars questions about the content of the movie are being dwelled upon to the point of major editing. A particular scene screened by test audiences is turning out to be an issue.
*SPOILER ALERT*
In one scene of the movie the Joker, played by Heath Ledger, is hiding in a body-bag to make a getaway. Fans subjected to the dry run of the film were disturbed by the scene and rumors immediately began to speculate as to whether or not the body bag scene would remain in the film. However, the sensitive parts of the film will remain.
A source close to the production told website MovieHole.net:
“The film remains intact - and nothing of Ledger’s will be cut from the movie, including the body-bag scene.”
“I know for a fact that that scene is in the film. I also know that WB has made no such mandate and that (director) Chris Nolan is honest when saying that he will not change what was intended with The Joker.”
While I agree the issue for fans is extremely sensitive, this not as tasteless as the actual footage of him leaving his apartment for the last time that was broadcasted for all to see. According to Slash Film and their readers the scene, almost unanimously, should be left alone.
I think one reader put it best when explaining:
“Leave it. His death has nothing to do with the context of his performance in the film. He was an actor, and assuming he did his job correctly, the audience shouldn’t be thinking about him but rather his character.”
While I do feel terrible about the passing of Heath, I say let it be. (I am not about to stand on a soap box and spout off “this is what he would have wanted” (agreed Hunter). Let’s have some sensitivity and respect.)

Slowly everything from photos, trailers and even the first seven minutes of the Dark Knight film has been leaked to the net. Thank the blogger gods for cinematical teasers. And here we have some new photos that have made their way to the surface. (I threw in a few older ones to keep the flow.)
Maggie Gyllenhaal has taken the place of Kaite Holmes’ character in the last Batman film has assured us she won’t be reproducing Katie’s performance in the first installment.
“I think she’s a wonderful actress and I really admired the work that she did in the first Batman, but I don’t think it would have worked if I tried to imitate her. I think the only way to do it is to do it like myself.” And because Christopher Nolan is a classy director, there won’t be any winks or nods to the fact that Rachel Dawes is a new face. “They just (expect you to) suspend your disbelief. I’m Rachel Dawes now. I mean, how many Batmen have there been? Lots of them!”
I am not a huge comic fan, but I could have dealt with a new chic in the role of damsel in distress. I like my Batman a little bit slutty.

It isn’t the best quality, but it gives you a sneak peek into what is in store for the Batman fans out there. . I now understand the dark angle and find it a bit creepy. Being that I am not a huge fan of the original Batman movies, I have to say that the new films are much better. I dig that they aren’t as cartoon-ish.
The Dark Night movie leak is obviously spoilerish so watch at your own desire or you can wait until July 18th for the real thing.
