In case you haven’t heard – the fourth season of MTV’s Jersey Shore is set to start shooting it’s fourth season in Italy pretty soon but it looks like Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the cast are already getting a frosty reception from the locals.
The show only started airing in Italy yesterday and it has already received a ton of backlash because of how the guidos and guidettes and represent a bad stereotype of Italians. One writer says “they embody the worst stereotypes of Italians, multiplied by thousands and Americanized.”
One person even went as far to say “when I see this, I wonder whether Osama Bin Laden had a point.” Obviously he is taking it a bit to extreme to say that the cast make America deserving of a terrorist attack.
None of this is affecting the cast though who are looking forward to going over to Italy and partying it up, where one club owner said he will definitely let them in. I can’t say I’m surprised they’re looking forward to it though, they are making well over $10,000 an episode as well as getting a free holiday to Italy.
Do you think the Italians are right to be pissed off with the cast and not wanting them in their country or do you think they are taking it a bit too extreme with their opinions?
It was quite the scene at George Clooney‘s villa in Italy today after a huge bomb scare threatened the lives of everyone around it. Okay I’m over-exaggerating, a lot.
While it may have not been a huge drama, there was a bomb-scare at his Italian villa today after military were called to recover about 500 pounds of hand grenades, mortars, and aircraft bombs from World War II were found by a fisherman in Lake Como which is just outside his villa.
Military and a bunch of divers were called on site to remove the bombs from the lake, a source said: “This is a very complex operation as the munitions have been in the water for a long time and are unstable.’That’s why we have taken the precaution of sealing off the entire area around the recovery operation and then the munitions will be taken to a cave where they will be safely detonated.”
It’s unknown if George Clooney was at his home or not but Donatella Versace also owns a villa in the same area.

We have all seen Rihanna fully naked when those pictures of her leaked a couple of months ago but she is showing her boobs again.
Rihanna got her boobs out in the new issue of Vogue Italy, I don’t really know why but I guess these pictures would be considered high fashion.
This is what I don’t get about American magazines, they are always the same and so boring… just a Hollywood girl airbrushed to the point she looks like a candle stick and then a big fake smile on her face.
Magazines in the United States need to take a look at Italian Vogue and give us some photoshoots like this Rihanna one.
George Clooney always picks out hot girls to be his new beard girlfriend for the year or so, this time he has chosen Elisabetta Canalis.
Elisabetta, 30, is an Italian model and actress, she also does some presenting. As of May 2009 she is a co-host on the Italian version of MTV’s Total Request Live. She will turn 31 on September 12.

Sacha Baron Cohen pissed off Italian police and fashionistas alike yesterday after wreaking havoc through a major Milan fashion show as Bruno — his flamboyantly gay version of Borat — without permission.
After somehow sneaking his way onto the catwalk in a ridiculously awesome velcro suit, Cohen managed to get about halfway down the runway before a bunch of hoity toity tightasses freaked out and dragged the dude off the stage and into a waiting police car.
