Ahh, Lance Armstrong and Matthew McConaughey. Not only jogging – but “shirtless” jogging. Yummy. Now, who do you think is going to win? Sure, you might be thinking of their running race, but I am actually talking about the”hotty” race. Me thinks Matthew McConaughey will win – but only by a pec.

It seems like it’s tell-all week here in Hollywood. First Ashley Judd, then Hilary Swank, and now Sheryl Crow. Boy, these magazines sure know how to get them to splill their guts, no?
Seems Sheryl very much still loves Lance and thinks about him often.
From People:
Sheryl Crow’s breakup with fiancé Lance Armstrong was “devastating,” the singer says in a new interview, adding, “I definitely still love him and always will love him.”
Crow tells Vanity Fair in its August issue, “I do think about Lance every day. And I think about his kids every day.”
She goes on to talk about their breakup and her bout with cancer:
“I actually turned around to make the drive to L.A.,” Armstrong, himself a cancer survivor, tells the magazine. “We talked along the way and she said, ‘You know, I just don’t think that’s a great idea.’ ”
“It was difficult,” says Crow. “I know he wanted to be there. I would have loved for him to have swept in and carried me through.” But ultimately, she says, she realized she had to rely on people who could “really just be there for me all the way through this – emotionally, unconditionally”: her family.
“I still feel bruised,” she tells the magazine. “I still feel really raw and vulnerable – not just from the breakup but the whole experience. … But the nice thing about my job is that there is a catharsis that I get to experience when I play some of this stuff.”

Kate Hudson has installed a strip club style pole in her home. For fitness, don’t you know?
Years ago, Morris dancing was enough to keep folk happy – my, how things have changed. These days, the trend is to erect a pole in the home, strip off and dance around it… and we’re not talking May poles.
We all knew Zoe Ball liked to wind her way around a bit of steel, but Hollywood elite Kate Hudson also likes to perform on a pole, to liven up her love life. The star of How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, who’s married to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson, has been revealing (almost) all to the Daily Mirror. “I don’t want to do it too often. It’s one of those things that happens – if it’s his lucky night,” she said.
But it’s not all about lust. Honest. Kate insists pole dancing is a tremendous way to keep fit. “It’s a very gruelling exercise,” she said. SOURCE
Intriguing. Well, it seems to be working in Kate’s case; she’s obviously quite fit.

It gets better. She reveals to MTV that she enjoys walking around naked.
Kate Hudson is cover-girl gorgeous, has an infectious laugh, loves to play poker and enjoys cleaning up after her man. It’s no surprise, then, that Matt Dillon and Owen Wilson developed huge crushes on her during the filming of July 14′s uninvited-guest comedy “You, Me and Dupree.” We caught up with the radiant Oscar nominee recently to discuss her co-stars’ blush-inducing affection; Hudson’s love for her mom, Goldie Hawn; and one last quality that could also win over a few men: her tendency to walk around in the nude.
[...]
MTV: Explain the dream sequence, for those who haven’t seen the film yet.
Hudson: Well, there’s such a buildup to that scene, because Owen’s character, Dupree, comes and moves into our house and everything sort of goes awry. Matt’s character, who’s my husband, is having a really horrible time at work, and my father is his boss. Basically, what ends up happening is Owen and I form a relationship, and at the dinner [we see] Matt’s mind as it gets away from him. He goes into this daydream sequence of us on this boat. I’m in a tiny little bathing suit, with my hair done up … and Lance Armstrong’s there.
MTV: And Lance is sitting in a chair watching you seduce Owen.
Hudson: [She laughs.] Lance is sitting right behind me, and I’m sitting up on this thing with Owen, and I had to straddle Owen. So all Lance saw was my butt! That was it. That was all he saw.
MTV: Did you ever think you’d someday film a seduction scene as an Olympic cyclist stared at you and rubbed …
Hudson: … a thing of butter? [She laughs.] I know, that sounds so horrible! But no, I never thought I’d be there.
MTV: It must have felt like you were making some celebrity porno video that could be leaked on the Internet.
Hudson: Yeah, right! [She laughs.] “Anybody seen the tape with Kate, Owen and Lance Armstrong?” [She laughs.] Um, yeah.
[...]
MTV: If one of your fans were to let you crash on their couch, what Dupree-esque qualities might they be appalled by?
Hudson: Similar to Dupree, it would probably have something to do with nudity. [She laughs.] Well, I don’t know if they’d be so upset with that. I am female. I’ve never been one to be too shy with that.
[...]
Hudson: That’s great. Now I’m blushing. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I’m half-naked for half this movie. [She laughs.] It could have something to do with me being in my underwear for a lot of this movie.
MTV: That’s true, but some of those scenes were shot from the neck down. Tell us the truth: Was there ever a butt double?
Hudson: [She fakes indignation.] For me? No! I don’t need a butt double. It’s all me. I’ll stick with my own body, thank you.
MTV: I think the fans appreciate that.
Hudson: I’ve always been very open with my body in films, even if it’s “Skeleton Key” when I was 30 pounds overweight. I have no qualms about being open with my body. I mean, it’s part of what I do, so I’m OK with it. [She laughs.] As long as it’s not exploitative — like me riding Matt with my top off! I mean, that will probably not happen.
A great loss to the arts, that.

Kristin Richard, Lance Armstrong’s ex-wife, reveals that she voluntarily gave up her identity while married to the biking star, making both herself and her then-husband miserable.
Lance Armstrong’s ex-wife, Kristin Richard, revealed to Oprah Winfrey on Tuesday that the road she shared with the Tour de France record holder was far from smooth. Although the 1999-2003 marriage produced three children before it ended in divorce, the union also left Richard feeling “smothered,” and turned her from an opinionated career person into a “yes” woman, Richard, 34, said on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
“You and Lance looked like you had it all,” said Winfrey, noting that Richard was swept off her feet by the stellar athlete, married him, had three children quickly and moved to the French Riviera. Richard, however, said that her role was strictly to cheer on Armstrong, prompting Winfrey to advise women not to make the same mistake. “It wasn’t Lance saying, ‘You should be like this’ or ‘Do this.’ It wasn’t him making a mandate and me being a mouse. It was me trying to emulate whatever I thought would be the perfect wife or the perfect mother,” said Richard, promoting an article she’s written for the April Glamour magazine titled “What I Wish I Had Known About Marriage.” “We think we’re trying to please somebody for the sake of our marriage, but then if you ask Lance today if he appreciated that, I think he would probably say, ‘Well, that wasn’t the woman that I fell in love with,’” added Richard.
Imagine that.

Advertisements featuring Paris Hilton and Britney Spears actually make people want to buy less of a product, a new survey has found.
Other than being rich and controversial celebrities, what other attribute do Paris Hilton, Donald Trump, Britney Spears and Kobe Bryant have in common? A new survey says they all also make consumers want to buy less of the products that they peddle in ads.
According to the results of a “Celebrity Influence Study” by market research firm NPD Group, while a celebrity alone won’t sell a product, the “right” celebrity may help grab the attention of some consumers who wouldn’t have otherwise noticed the product. On the other hand, choosing the “wrong” celebrity could hurt consumers’ perception of the brand or product.
For instance, the report said home improvement guru and host of ABC’s ” Extreme Makeover” Ty Pennington, Verizon pitchman James Earl Jones, Jenny Craig’s celebrity endorser Kirstie Alley, multiple Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong and master chef Emeril Lagasse all positively influence consumers to buy the products that they represent.
Why? Simply because they appear to be more believable. In the case of Kirstie Alley and George Foreman, the report said these are celebrities that consumers see as being “someone I trust,” that “Kirstie Alley is working hard to lose weight, and that George Foreman knows about healthy grilling.”
At the same time, other celebrity endorsers, like Paris Hilton and Donald Trump can hurt a product’s image because consumers don’t believe these celebrities actually use or believe in the products they pitching, the report said.
Using celebrities is a “double-edge sword,” NPD’s chief industry analyst Marshal Cohen said in the report, since they can cut through the cutter of competition but they can also cut the brand power in half. “If the wrong celebrity is used, or the celebrity does something to disenchant the public, then their association with a brand can backfire,” Cohen said. “Marketers need to choose wisely since today’s hot celebrity can become tomorrow’s worst marketing nightmare.”
Although the idea that George Foreman actually has expertise in healthy grilling amuses me, the results make sense. People know that Kirstie Allie is intermittently a fat ass, so they believe that she’s trying to lose weight.
Mostly, though, I think it’s a likeability issue. Shaquille Oneal is a big, lovable lug. Kobi Bryant is, at best, a lying adulterer. And, while people find Donald Trump and Paris Hilton fascinating for whatever reason, most people think of them as shallow buffoons.

Sheryl Crow had surgery for breast cancer last week but apparently caught the disease in time.
Even as pop star Kylie Minogue recovers from breast cancer, pop and country singer Sheryl Crow, who recently broke her engagement with Tour de France winner cyclist Lance Armstrong, has been diagnosed with the malignant disease.
A statement posted on the singer’s Web site said that she had undergone surgery for the malignancy on February 22 and would be postponing her North America tour to receive radiation therapy. “I am joining the more than 200,000 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. We are a testament to the importance of early detection and new treatments,” Crow said in the statement.
She also urged women to go for regular checkups to ensure early diagnosis and thus, better chances of complete cure. “I am inspired by the brave women who have faced this battle before me and grateful for the support of family and friends,” added the 44-year-old singer.
The statement added that the surgery was ‘minimally invasive’. “Her doctors think her prognosis is excellent,” said Dave Tomberlin, Crow’s publicist.
Meanwhile, former fiancé Lance Armstrong, who survived testicular and brain cancer to become a seven-time Tour de France winner, said the news was ‘devastating’ to him. “Once again I’m reminded of just how pervasive this illness is, as it has now touched someone I love deeply. Based on my contact in recent days with Sheryl, her doctor and her family, I am confident that she will have a full and complete recovery and the world will be a better place for it,” he said in a statement, urging Crow’s fans to keep her in their ‘thoughts and prayers’.

Serena Kappes and Marla Lehner have a photo feature in People entitled, “After the Split: Moving On!” The inspiration: “Sheryl Crow, Heather Locklear and other suddenly single stars are bouncing back.”
I, for one, was concerned as to whether Crow or Locklear would ever get laid again. After all, who wants to sleep with incredibly good looking women who are rich and famous, too?
Sheryl Crow, 44, walked tall on the catwalk at a New York Fashion Week charity show (right) on Feb. 3 — the same day she and fiancé Lance Armstrong announced their split. Days later, she attended the Grammys solo (and feasted with Steven Tyler at a Feb. 7 pre-party). “She will be just fine,” says pal Natalie Cole. “She is a strong woman.”
Also featured are Heather Locklear, Sophia Bush, Jessica Simpson, Hillary Swank, Denise Richards, and Nichole Richie.
