Karissa Shannon To Sue Spencer Pratt Over Sex Tape

Karissa Shannon is planning on suing Spencer Pratt if he releases the sex tape that she made with her boyfriend, Sam Jones. This is the sex tape that Spencer originally said was of Heidi Montag and Karissa, but now it seems the tape is actually of Karissa and her boyfriend.

Karissa’s lawyer sent off a threatening letter to Spencer warning him that if he doesn’t return the footage that he “stole” from her property then she will sue him for compensatory and punitive damages.

Spencer hasn’t replied yet except this on his Twitter account, “maybe if I threaten to release a solo sex tape, humanity will pay me $5million not to.”

I can’t pay you $5 million Spencer, but I will give you the $13 that’s in my wallet and the 5 sticks of gum I have left for you to never release a sex tape.

Diddy Sued by Ex-Employee For Age Discrimination

Bad Boy mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been dragged into a new legal battle by a former employee who alleges she was dismissed because she was too old and disabled.

Francesca Spero, 51, claims Diddy fired her from her executive position at Bad Boy Records in March after she “suffered a relapse” of an addiction to prescription medication and alcohol following a painful hip replacement operation.

The pair go way back: Spero — who describes herself as a “51-year-old White woman” — introduced Combs to hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons and Uptown Records after their initial meeting in 1988.

“Francesca Spero opened the door for Combs’ career and, now that she’s 51, he showed her the door at Bad Boy,” her attorney, Laurie Berke-Weiss told NBC New York.

According to the suit, filed in Federal Court in Manhattan Wednesday and obtained by TMZ.com, Spero alleges Diddy was “unsympathetic to her condition” and attempted to get rid of her. She was eventually replaced by a woman at least 10 years her junior, who she claims “lacked the skill set and experience Spero brought to the position.”

Spero claims Diddy and his partners owe her $12 million in damages for age and disability discrimination.

A publicist for Combs says: “There are many reasons why Ms. Spero is no longer employed by Bad Boy, but age discrimination is not one of them.”

Joe Francis Files Lawsuit Against ‘Piranha 3D’ Filmmaker

Piranha 3D director Alexandre Aja has told EW he is not worried about the possibility of legal action by Girls Gone Wild chief Joe Francis.

In the film, which was released on Friday, Jerry O’Connell plays a character named Derrick Jones who runs a Girls Gone Wild-type operation called Wild Wild Girls. Jones is shown snorting cocaine and encouraging two underage characters to drink liquor.

Last week, according to The Hollywood Reporter, a lawyer representing Francis sent a letter to Piranha 3D distributors The Weinstein Company cautioning “all those associated” with the film to refrain from maligning Francis. The letter stated that “any defamatory or disparaging statements; or depictions in the media or in the film itself, or other statements that portray Francis in a false light, will be met with swift litigation to recover substantial damages.”

“I believe Mr. O’Connell may lose more than his penis if he and the Weinstein Co. choose to release this film and continue to falsely associate me with its questionable content,” Francis told The Hollywood Reporter, referring to a sequence in the movie during which Derrick Jones’ penis is indeed bitten off by piranha.

But according to Aja, the character in the spring break-set movie was actually inspired by a number of different people. “When I was writing and developing that character, which was in the original script, I never thought about Joe Francis,” said the French director. “I am not [concerned]. There are so many person like that. Spring break is about thousands and thousands of kids getting drunk and partying. Around them you have very bizarre people. On the one hand, you have the very religious ultra-Christian people trying to convince them to read the bible and not show their boobs. And on the other hand, you have people from the adult industry coming to provoke and tease college kids and have them doing crazy stuff on camera. This character of Jerry O’Connell’s was, for me, a human piranha. But not based on anyone specifically. Writing that script and creating the Wild Wild Girls, you cannot help yourself but think about Girls Gone Wild and about Joe Francis. But it’s a very very, very, very, very, different character. People might recognize a little bit of him, but it’s based on so many other people.”

Not only is this funny because his name really isn’t all that good to begin with, but as the character in the movie (played by Jerry O’Connell, who deserves a comeback for sure) seems only to be doing pretty much exactly what Francis does in real life: party and get girls to take their tops off.

So what’s the big deal?

Michael Lohan Accused Of Assault Again

Another day another lawsuit for the Lohan family, this time it’s Michael Lohan being accused of assault for the second time in under a month.

Last month Lohan was accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Kate Major, that ended up coming to a happy ending, but now he is being accused of assaulting former ‘Rock of Love’ star Cindy “Rodeo” Steedle.

According to TMZ, Rodeo filed a police report in New York which claimed that Lohan assaulted her when they were working together on a reality show.

In a letter that Rodeo wrote she said that after she confronted Lohan about not getting paid he “became violent and raised his hand” and then “brushed his hand on my lower bottom.” She also says she has been living in fear for the life of her child and herself because Lohan has been threatening her on the phone and through emails.

He of course denies this and simply says “anyone in the house will tell you that she is lying. I’d rather touch a hot stove, rather than her.”

Donald Duck Sued for Grabbing a Boob

We hug them, we kiss them, we put our children in their arms. Who are the strange people in the furry costumes at Disney World?

After Donald Duck grabbed her boob, a 27-year-old is suing Disney.

The Smoking Gun reports that April Magolon is seeking in excess of $50,000 for negligence, battery, and emotional distress after Donald Duck grappled her breast with a white-gloved hand, then “made gestures making a joke indicating he had done something wrong.” (I’m guessing this means a “Who me?” shrug, but a creepy a hand-to-mouth giggle pose might also make sense.)

Now April has post-traumatic stress disorder, according to her lawyer, and needs money for treatment. The legal papers includes a helpful list of other Disney character transgressions, like the time Tigger molested a 13-year-old girl.

Unbelievable!

On another note… the above photo is Donald Duck pictured with Christina Aguilera. The image is beyond amusing, and NSFW — we put it after the jump!

Katy Perry Sued by the Beach Boys

Katy Perry may be in hot water over her smash hit, “California Girls,” that is homage to the Beach Boys’ “California Girls.”

The latter song’s writers, Brian Wilson and Mike Love, have both gone on record as being big fans of Perry’s tune. But the company that owns the copyright on behalf of Love and Wilson, Rondor Music, is more interested in compensation than flattery.

Rondor has reportedly threatened to sue if Perry doesn’t hand over royalties on her single, which has sold more than 3 million digital downloads, and tied a record by reaching that figure in just 11 short weeks.

Perry has borrowed song titles before and not gotten in trouble for it. Her breakthrough hit was “I Kissed a Girl,” which bore thematic as well as titular similarity to the Jill Sobule single of the same name. If anything, Perry would have seemed to be in less danger with “California Gurls,” which bears no similarity to the Beach Boys’ oldie beyond the title. Well, except for the line “I wish they all could be California girls,” uttered late in the song as part of a seeming improv by guest rapper Snoop Dogg. As far as Roncor Music is concerned, that one borrowed lyric crosses the line from tribute to plagiarism.

Katy Perry Sued by the Beach Boys

The dispute went public in a big way today after a report in the New York Post publicized Rondor’s threat to sue Perry. But any attentive Rolling Stone readers already knew that trouble was brewing, if they got past her barely-lingerie-clad cover shoot to the accompanying story. In the article, Perry seems to be saying she’s taking Snoop Dogg’s line off the album version of the track, due to a demand that Wilson and Love should get credit and compensation.

“As much as I want a Beach Boys credit on my album, we have to take it out,” Perry says in the Rolling Stone article.

That’s right: When Perry’s sophomore album, Teenage Dream, comes out August 24, Snoop will no longer be heard wishing they all could be California girls. Which may make the copies of the song that have already been sold collectors’ items–all 3 million of them.

One of her managers is quoted in the Rolling Stone piece as saying: “You want a Brian Wilson credit, not a Mike Love credit.” She responds: “Well, you said it, not me.”

It’s possible those remarks put an end to Love’s sense of being flattered. Just a few weeks ago, Love was quoted in the Los Angeles Times as saying: “I think she’s really clever. We have a lot in common now: We both have done songs called ‘California Girls’ and we’ve both kissed girls and liked it…[It] obviously brings to mind our ‘California Girls,’ it’s just in a different vernacular, a different way of appreciating the same things. The Beach Boys have always accentuated the positive, and hers is a positive message about California Girls, so what’s not to like?” In Billboard magazine, Love even referenced the rap portion of the song, saying, “I think it’s probably a stroke of genius to have the king of canine cool, Mr. Dogg, do his thing.”

Wilson, for his part, also waxed appreciative to the L.A. Times, at the time. “I love her vocal,” he told the paper. “She sounds very clear and energetic…The melody is infectious, and I’m flattered that Snoop Dogg used our lyric on the tag. I wish them well with this cut.”

Rondor has reportedly said that it’s taking the action on behalf of Wilson and Love, but the two Beach Boys (who continue to be professionally estranged from one another) both said through their reps that they have not initiated any of this action themselves.

Odds are that this will all be settled out of court, though we can amuse ourselves considered the possibilities for followup lawsuits. Maybe Perry could sue Snoop for bringing on this trouble with his overly referential lyric. Maybe Snoop could sue the marijuana industry for impairing his judgment.

And Perry has said that the “U” in “Gurls” is an homage to the ’70s cult rock band Big Star, who introduced the misspelling into the pop vocabulary with their song “September Gurls.” No word yet on whether the Alex Chilton estate plans to sue for its own cut of Perry’s royalties.

DJ AM Sued Over ‘Foul Odor’

Unbelievable!

DJ AM‘s former neighbor is suing the deceased star’s estate claiming that he owned a piece of property that smelled so bad, it literally made one man sick to his stomach.

DJ AM Sued Over 'Foul Odor'

In the lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, a man named Isaac Toveg claims that while he lived near AM (aka Adam Goldstein) he often noticed a “gaseous foul odor and/or smell” emitting from AM’s property.

Toveg claims when he would go outside, he would “experience problems in breathing and stomach ailments and would become severely ill” and was eventually diagnosed with Helicobacter pylori.

According to the suit, Toveg claims he told AM about the problem, but was ignored. Toveg claims after AM died — it was discovered that there was a “broken” sewer pipe on the property. Toveg claims he is now “able to relate his illness to the broken sewer pipe.”

Toveg is suing for more than $25k in damages.

David Boreanaz Sued For Sexual Harassment

The last we heard from Bones actor David Boreanaz he admitted cheating on his wife of 9 years, Jaime Bergman, now he is being sued by an actress for sexual harassment.

David Boreanaz Sued For Sexual Harassment

Gloria Allred represented the woman that David cheated with back then and now she is once again going to meet him in court because she is representing Kristina Hagan (the woman in the photo above), the woman who alleges he harassed her while she was an extra on Bones.

The lawsuit claims that on August 21, 09, he started to send her sexually inappropriate texts and then in September they were driving in his car together when he started to tell her he was the boss and “could make things happen” for her. What a typical Hollywood come on line, she should have known there and then.

He then parked his car and “attempted to kiss her and touch her breasts but she pushed him away. [He] unzipped his pants, pulled out his penis and began stroking it until he ejaculated.” When September 29 came around he took her into his trailer and yet again tried to kiss and fondle her, then he “masturbated in front of her.”

She also claims that David repeatedly told Hagan he was looking for a good acting role for her but of course never got her shit.

I’m not defending David Boreanaz or anything, if this is true then he deserves to have the book thrown at him, but seriously how stupid and desperate must this Kristina Hagan chick be? He used every typical Hollywood pick up line in the book, then after the text messages and first incident of fondling her while jacking off – she should not have gone back to him for a third time.

Producers Of The Hurt Locker Sue 5,000 Torrent Users

Well I hope you didn’t download The Hurt Locker using any torrents because producers from the movie have launched as huge lawsuit against 5,000 BitTorrent users for copyright violation.

Producers Of The Hurt Locker Sue 5,000 Torrent Users

Voltage Pictures, which produced the movie, filed the lawsuit in the Columbia District Court but they don’t know the name of the defendants and can only identify them by their IP address. They will subpoena the internet company providers for access to the users name and info.

The movie, which was directed by Kathryn Bigelow, grossed less than $17 million despite being a huge success at award ceremonies, including the Oscars, and the production company blame torrent users. The lawsuit says…

“A Defendant’s distribution of even one unlawful copy of a motion picture can result in the nearly instantaneous worldwide distribution of that single copy to a limitless number of people. The Plaintiff now seeks redress for this rampant infringement of their exclusive rights.”

Those users who are getting caught will receive a letter asking them to pay a settlement of $1,500 and if they don’t then that fee can be ten times as much if they go to court.

I think I would shit a brick if I received a letter asking me to pay that much money, to be fair to the people who did download the movie – most people only downloaded it because they weren’t able to see it before the Oscars since it wasn’t given a bit national release so the production company only have themselves to blame in my opinion. $1,500 is also a bit steep. Where do you stand on this piracy issue?

Actor Michael Avmen Sues Oscars For False Imprisonment

Hollywood newcomer Michael Avmen thought attending the Academy Awards would be the highlight of his burgeoning career.

Instead, the actor claims that he and his wife were “tentatively confirmed” guests, but were “held against their will” for six hours in the Academy’s “detention center,” interrogated about how they were able to get onto the red carpet without tickets and accused of lying and trespassing.

Actor Michael Avmen Sues Oscars For False Imprisonment

FOXNews reports that Avmen has now filed a $50 million lawsuit against The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for illegal false imprisonment and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Avmen has small roles in three upcoming films this year — ‘Broken Blade,’ ‘Battle: Los Angeles’ and ‘Straw Dogs,’ starring Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard.

According to a suit filed in Central District Superior Court in California, Avmen was told he’d been offered a tentative invitation to the event, but despite several attempts by Avmen and his publicist, they were unable to locate the tickets. It’s not unusual for the Academy to hold tickets inside the venue; actors such as Robert Downey Jr. also received their tickets on the day of the event. Avmen claims he was led to believe his tickets were waiting for him there.

On the afternoon of March 7, Avmen and his wife dressed up for the Oscars and an usher for the event took them from their hotel to a “resolution desk,” where Avmen met an Academy employee with whom he’d been in contact.

After six hours of interrogation, Avmen says uniformed Los Angeles police officers arrived and took them to the station, but no charges were filed. Avmen claims that the officer apologized profusely for how they were treated by Academy officials.

Avmen’s lawsuit states that he and his wife were “injured in health, strength and activity” and “sustained injury to his and her body and shock and injury to their nervous system” and have since suffered “humiliation, mental anguish and emotional and physical distress.”

“If I or some ‘REGULAR’ individual acted as the Academy did, we would be in prison right now. I will show that these people aren’t above the law. Security is one thing, but this was outside the realm of excessive. My wife and I have suffered, and there has been a great injustice enforced.”

I hope you win… because you’ll probably never act again.

The lawsuit, filed Thursday in Manhattan Federal Court, accuses Ortiz of naming his Santo Domingo club Forty-Forty in the hopes of trading in on the rap star’s fame.

The suit seeks over $5 million in damages and for Ortiz to forfeit any use of the 40/40 name.

Jay-Z’s string of bars can be found in Manhattan, Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

“David Ortiz is fully aware of Plaintiff’s Manhattan 40/40 club, since he had been a patron there on several occasions before he opened his Infringing Forty/Forty club.”

The clubs are named after the feat of hitting 40 homers and stealing 40 bases in one season.

A message seeking comment was left Thursday night with SFX Baseball, the agency that represents Ortiz.

Nicollette Sheridan Sues Marc Cherry For Assault

It’s been over a year since Nicollette Sheridan was fired from Desperate Housewives, most people assumed it was fighting between the girls that caused her to be written of the show. This is not the case because she says creator of the show, Marc Cherry, hit her across the face.

Nicollette Sheridan Sues Marc Cherry For Assault

Apparently on September 24, 2008, she questioned something in the script but this didn’t go down well at all with Cherry who then took her aside and slapped her across the head and face. When she went to her trailer he apparently ran after her to “beg forgiveness.”

Nicollete has now filed a lawsuit against Cherry asking for more than $20 million, she says that when she complained to ABC about his behavior he unfairly fired her from the show.

The lawsuit also says that he created a hostile work environment by “behaving in an extremely abusive and aggressive manner.” She also claims that he yelled at crew and other cast members including Teri Hatcher, who allegedly complained to ABC about him but Cherry’s response was simply “I hope Teri Hatcher gets hit by a car and dies.” ABC say they have yet to see Hatcher’s complaint but they found Nicollette’s complaint to be without merit.

So this is why Desperate Housewives became so shitty, all the good stuff was going on behind the cameras and not in front of the camera.
