Well here it is the first trailer for ‘Battleship‘ which is a movie based on the classic strategy board game that we have all played when we were younger.
‘Hancock’ directer Peter Berg is the man behind the directors chair and basically turned the classic game into a big Hollywood movie with loads of explosions and aliens. I must have missed the aliens when I used to play the game.
The plot for the movie goes like this “A story of an international Navy fleet engaged in a very dynamic and intense battle against an alien race known as “The Regents”. The aliens come to planet Earth, on a mission to build a power source in the ocean. Upon their visit, they come in contact with a navy fleet. The film is also purported to show both sides of the story, from the aliens’ perspective, as well as the humans.”
Taylor Kitsch takes on the lead role Alex Hopper who is dating Admiral Shane’s, played by Liam Neeson, daughter who is played by none other than Brooklyn Decker. Hopper is supposed to be one of the navys rising stars but not anymore and that’s mostly to do with his relationship.
Rihanna also makes her acting debut in this movie and you can see her at around the 1:04 mark for a split second, she’s the one driving the speedboat.
Battleship, which is out on May 18, 2012, actually looks pretty good. Will you be going to see it?
Bill Clinton has filmed a cameo for ‘The Hangover 2.’ The former president will play himself in the film and shot his brief performance on Saturday in Bangkok, Thailand, a source confirmed to PEOPLE.
Clinton was in Bangkok to deliver a speech on clean energy.
‘The Hangover 2‘ courted controversy when Mel Gibson was hired to play a tattoo artist in the movie. The cast was reportedly not happy working with Gibson following his recent troubles, and the actor was nixed the day before he was set to begin shooting, amid chatter that Zach Galifianakis, in particular, was vocal about his discomfort with Gibson.
“I’m in a deep protest right now with a movie I’m working on, up in arms about something,” Galifianakis vented, but refused to identify ‘The Hangover 2′ or Mel Gibson by name.
Gibson was reportedly downright furious when his role was given to Liam Neeson.
An insider says, “He doesn’t understand why Mike Tyson, a drug user who turned his life around, was given a chance (in ‘The Hangover’) while Mel was kicked to the curb. Everybody deserves a second chance.”
Meet a side of Amanda Seyfried you have not met before. The one who gets naked with Julianne Moore.
Seyfried sat down with Courtney Friel for FOX411′s “Face 2 Face” interview about her new movie “Chloe,” with Moore and Liam Neeson.
Seyfried has several nude scenes in the new Atom Egoyan film about infidelity, and one extremely intimate love scene with co-star Julianne Moore. Did I mention they get naked?
Seyfriend said of the on-screen love match,
“My dad’s not allowed to see [the movie]. Being nude is not really much of an issue, I don’t think for any of us really. It’s easy just to take off your clothes but its really the intimacy that’s … challenging.”
In all honesty, I couldn’t care less about a nude love scene with these two women — but I will say, it looks like a promising thriller that I’m looking forward to seeing.

Amanda Seyfried has done what so many of her peers are afraid to do – she got fully naked for a scene in her new movie, Chloe.
The movie, which stars Seyfried, Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore, is released in the USA on March 19 but the French trailer was released the other day and as with most French stuff they aren’t afraid to show a bit of nudity.
A synopsis for the movie reads, “Catherine (Moore) and David (Neeson), she a doctor, he a professor, are at first glance the perfect couple. Happily married with a talented teenage son, they appear to have an idyllic life. But when David misses a flight and his surprise birthday party, Catherine’s long simmering suspicions rise to the surface. Suspecting infidelity, she decides to hire an escort to seduce her husband and test his loyalty. Catherine finds herself ‘directing’ Chloe’s (Seyfried) encounters with David, and Chloe’s end of the bargain is to report back, the descriptions becoming increasingly graphic as the meetings multiply.â€
As well as stripping down to her nothings Amanda Seyfried also has a bit of a lesbian scene with Julianne Moore, which makes it her second lesbian scene … she has previously had one with Megan Fox.
Actress Natasha Richardson is brain dead – after falling in a ski accident in Canada – and is now on sad journey home to New York, friends told The Post today.
Richardson, who was being treated at a Montreal hospital, is being transported to New York this afternoon so her mom Vanessa Redgrave, two children and other loved ones can say goodbye before she’s taken off life-support, friends said.
Redgrave was in London when the accident happened but arrived in New York today to see her gravely injured daughter, sources said.
Liam Neeson, husband of the Broadway and screen star, left shooting of his movie in Toronto to rush to Richardson’s side in Montreal and now on the trip home.
The British-born Richardson, 45, fell during a private lesson at Mont Tremblant resort yesterday and allegedly told resort employees she felt fine.
But an hour later, she complained of an extreme headache and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Richardson was on a beginner’s slope and reportedly not wearing a helmet when she fell – although headgear is not required.
“She did not show any visible sign of injury but the ski patrol followed strict procedures and brought her back to the bottom of the slope and insisted she should see a doctor,” said a statement from the resort, which is almost 80 miles northwest of Montreal.
“Approximately an hour after the incident Mrs. Richardson was not feeling good.”
Richardson was initially taken to the Centre Hospitalier Laurentien in Sainte Agathe and was later transferred to Hopital du Sacre-Coeur in Montreal.
The actress – who is the elder daughter of Oscar-winner Vanessa Redgrave and late director Tony Richardson – comes from a long line of noted British players.
Maternal grandparents Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson, uncle and aunt Corin Redgrave and Lynn Redgrave are all actors.
Sister Joely Richardson currently has a recurring role in the FX show “Nip/Tuck.”
Natasha Richardson was mostly recently on TV as a guest judge on the Bravo hit “Top Chef.”
She also appeared in the 1994 movie “Nell” alongside future husband Neeson. They were married a short time later and they have two sons.
The elder son, Michael, 13, was with Richardson on the slopes, while the younger Daniel, 12, was here in New York when the accident happened, friends said.
Richardson reached her Broadway peak in 1998, winning the Tony for playing Sally Bowles in “Cabaret.”
Richardson is close friends with her ex-husband Robert Fox and he’s expected to be with her today.
“Taken” has overtaken the box office crown and swiped the weekend sales away from “Paul Blart: Mall Cop“.
“Taken” drew in $24,65,000 in this weekend’s box office, leaving the second spot for Paul Blart. Also new in the theaters is “The Uninvited“, which took third place in it’s first week. “Hotel For Dogs” is in it’s third week and landed the fourth spot, leaving the fifth spot for Clint Eastwood’s flick, “Gran Torino“.
“Taken” stars Liam Neeson as Bryan, an ex-CIA spy and father of kidnapping victim, Kim. Kim and her friend Amanda take a trip to Europe where Amanda gets kidnapped, and subsequently, so does Kim. Amanda dies from a heroin overdose and Kim gets sold into sex slavery.
Bryan tells the kidnappers that if they let his daughter go, he won’t track them down and kill them. Things apparently don’t go as planned, and you can see where this is going.
