Congratulations are in order for Reese Witherspoon because she tied the knot with her now husband Jim Toth on Saturday evening at her ranch in Ojai, California in front of 120 friends and family.
Us Magazine confirms that Reese wore a Monique Lhuillier gown, in case you care about stuff like that, and guests included the likes of Alyssa Milano, Tobey Maguire, Renee Zellweger and Scarlett Johansson.
All while this was happening Reese’s ex-boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal, spent the night bowling along with Adam Levine and he spent half the night chatting up model Mini Anden.
An onlooker says “he put his hand on her back, trying to convince her to bowl with them and being really sweet, he looked like he was trying to give her a lesson on bowling. He seemed to want to show off a little bit.”
I think I ‘d have preferred to have Gyllenhaal’s weekend of bowling and chatting up models.

We all know that Jessica Simpson isn’t the smartest cookie the jar but she is making herself look even more stupid if it’s true that she doesn’t want a prenup when she gets married to Eric Johnson.
Jessica announced her engagement over the weekend and is apparently trying to get married by the end of the year so she can beat Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo down the aisle. But what she didn’t announce over the weekend is how she is going to get married without a prenup, despite being worth over $100 million.
Even though Nick took $10 million on her when they got divorced back in 2005 because there was no prenup she is willing to make the same mistake again. Oh and another thing – apparently Jessica bought her own $100,000 engagement ring herself because he couldn’t afford it. A source says…
“First, we find out that Jessica doesn’t want to have a prenup, and now we find out that she might have paid for her own ring. It just doesn’t feel right to me, we all want Jessica to be happy and finally find true love after all she has been through, but she doesn’t understand that in the long run if she pays for everything it will hurt her relationship with any man.”
And her father isn’t too happy…. “At the moment, Joe is sitting back and being a great father, supporting his daughter and his future son-in-law, however, you can bet after all the excitement has died down, Joe is going to do everything in his power to make sure Jessica doesn’t walk down the aisle until Eric signs away any right he might have to Jessica’s enormous fortune.”
Jessica Simpson needs her head checked, I get that she is madly in love or whatever but still when it comes to your money you don’t fuck around and she should know this by now.

In case you’ve been hiding under a rock today I’m sure you’ve heard the news that Prince William is engaged to Kate Middleton after he proposed to her last month in Kenya.
The couple have been on-and-off for the past eight years but they are now finally set to get married sometime in Spring or Summer of 2011. Prince William is said to have asked Kate’s father for her hand before proposing to her.
He presented her with with his mothers, Princess Diana, oval blue 18-carat sapphire and diamond ring engagement ring because he didn’t want her to miss out on the excitement. He said…
“It is very special to me. It was my way to make sure my mother did not miss out on today and the excitement that we are going to spend the rest of our lives together.”
No word on where the wedding will take place yet but her family say they are thrilled with the news of the engagement. Check out the photos to see the engagement ring.
Congratulations to Prince William and Kate Middleton but I know I am going to be sick of hearing about them by the end of the week and when the actually wedding comes around it’s all we will hear about.

It was just last week that Jessica Simpson said how happy she was for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo‘s engagement, now she has gone and got engaged herself.
Us Weekly first reported news of the engagement on Sunday with her rep confirming the news then her father, Joe Simpson, took to his Twitter page and wrote “So very happy for Jess and Eric. May they have a lifetime of joy and happiness.”
Jessica showed off her engagement ring while at some signing over the weekend, which you can see in the photos. Who is willing to bet this is all just a buck “fuck you” to Nick and Vanessa? Especially since Jessica has only been dating Eric since May this year.

Jessica Simpson went on Ryan Seacrest‘s morning radio show on KIIS-FM earlier today and of course he asked how she was coping with the news that her Nick Lachey got engaged.
Nick got engaged to Vanessa Minnillo last week and then we all assumed that Jessica was going to fly off the handle and have a Newlyweds DVD marathon while eating herself. But this is not the case, she says…
“I am extremely, extremely happy for him. I couldn’t be more happy for Nick. I don’t know where all those rumors came from. My mom actually called me and told me that everybody was saying that I was ‘saddened.’ And I was just in complete shock. You know, our relationship was over a really long time ago, so it would be nice if everybody could move on with us and really just celebrate the love between him and Vanessa. After almost four years of dating, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are engaged, their reps confirm to UsMagazine.com.
“We’re excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together,” the couple said in a statement.
The couple began dating in 2006, not too long after Lachey’s very public divorce from his first wife, singer Jessica Simpson. The pair broke up briefly last year but reconciled soon after.
In an interview with Parade earlier this year, Minnillo talked about what it takes to have a strong relationship in Hollywood.
“You have to talk through everything. It’s all about communication. We talk daily about things that upset us. It’s about having a sounding board because if you hold in all your thoughts, dreams, anger and anxiety than you’re only hurting yourself.”
“You can’t go through your day and not talk to your partner. Ultimately, the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with is going to be your best friend, so why wouldn’t they know everything about your life?”

It seems like so many celebrities are getting married recently so to follow the trend Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz got married to each other over the weekend.
The wedding to place at a private home on the French Island of Corsica and it was officiated by spiritualist Deepak Chopra, guests included Bono and Queen Latifah.
Since the wedding took place in Europe the marriage isn’t official yet until they have a civil ceremony in the U.S., when they do it will be her first marriage and his second.

Some people were pissed when Miranda canceled an appearance for David Jones, an Australian department store that she models for, so she released a statement saying…

A rep for Cruz confirms they got married two weeks ago in the Bahamas during a private ceremony that was held at a friend’s house. Only a smell few members of their family were in attendance.
If you care about any of that wedding dress shit then you might want to know that she wore a dress designed by John Galliano.

Francis, 37, proposed to Los Angeles’ CBS News Entertainment Reporter Christina McLarty — niece of Mack McLarty, former White House chief of staff to Bill Clinton — while vacationing in St. Tropez. But it won’t be a traditional wedding.
“We have chosen to have a civil domestic partnership because we don’t believe it’s appropriate to be married until our gay and lesbian friends are afforded the same rights as us to legally marry in the United States.”
The couple have been dating on and off for nearly four years, during which Francis — who spent 339 days in jail battling various charges in Florida and Nevada — also went to court against Steve Wynn over a $2 million gambling debt, and the IRS, which seized $100 million from his bank accounts.
The gorgeous McLarty, who started her TV career in Texas, raised eyebrows two years ago when she appeared onstage in Las Vegas in a skimpy showgirl costume for a segment on Sin City nightlife.
The proposal to McLarty was obviously made on impulse. Asked about the ring, Francis said, “We’re having one made.”
The happy lovebirds were giddily planning the ceremony with 200 guests for sometime in September at Casa Aramara, Francis’ lavish beachfront estate in Punta Mita, Mexico.
Francis revealed, “The weekend will be fun, luxurious and filled with lots of surprises.” Quincy Jones, his longtime neighbor in Bel Air, will serve as best man. “This will be a nontraditional celebration of love, family and friends,” Francis said.

Gemma Arterton married her fiance Stefano Catelli over the weekend in a secret wedding in the hills of southern Spain, and yet another one bites the dust.
Apparently the couple flew out a small handful of friends and family to the small village of Zuheros in Andalucia, before the wedding most of the guests didn’t even know where they were going.
Speeking of her wedding dress Gemma said “my fiancé loves me most when I wake up in the morning wrapped up in the bedsheets. My wedding gown is kind of like that.”

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have quietly wed, according to Woman’s Day in Australia.
Cohen, 39, and Fisher, 34, who’ve been engaged for two years, said “I do” in front of a few close relatives in a private traditional Jewish ceremony in Paris last Monday.
Fisher wrote in an email to friends the following day:
“We did it – we’re married!. It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much.
I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss – just us!”
Cohen was spotted wearing a ring in Paris on Sunday, according to X17.
They welcomed a daughter, Olive, in 2007.
In 2005, Fisher told British newspaper, “Sacha makes me laugh more than anyone.”
She added that their relationship works, despite the fact that it’s unconventional.
“Instead of ‘Hey, honey, did you pick up the dry cleaning?,’ it was ‘Did you get beaten up? Are you getting sued? Is there a warrant out for your arrest?’ ” she said of Cohen who, at the time, headlined the controversial comedy, Borat.

Jordan got married to her boyfriend Alex Reid in a quickie wedding at around 4 p.m. local time at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
Alex popped the question to Jordan, real name Katie Price, in September of 2009 but she dumped a month later before getting back together. He appeared in (and won) the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother recently and is set to make a fortune. I’m sure his new fame and money have nothing to do with her getting married.
A spokesperson for them said “Katie and Alex are delighted to announce they got married in a private, simple ceremony Their decision to marry has not been made with any media deal in place. It is purely down to their love for each other.”
It says a lot about you when you’re spokesperson has to say that they didn’t do this for some publicity which obviously a total lie.
A source said that a camera crew filming her reality show were there but it’s unknown if she is going to allow the footage to be aired. After the wedding the pair were spotted heading out to a strip club in Vegas to celebrate. Oh and just because we all care so much her ex-husband, Peter Andre, said he isn’t bothered about the wedding.
I give it about a week or two before Jordan and Alex Reid are featured in OK! Magazine telling all about their decision to get married.
