Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy decided to name their new baby Bingham Hawn Bellamy which isn’t exactly the most traditional of names. Because of this NME have decided to look at other 25 celebrities who have given their children pretty interesting names.

Matthew Bellamy is a proud father because the first-time dad put up a photo of his fiancee Kate Hudson and their 5-week old baby boy, Bingham Hawn.
The Muse frontman put the photo up on Twitter with the caption “Family life!” This seems to be a trend for most celebrities lately showing off their babies on Twitter instead of letting the paparazi get the first photo, Victoria and David Beckham did this a few weeks ago.
The plan didn’t work though because Matt went back on Twitter today to write “Wow, these paps are annoying. Thought we’d tweet pic in hope of paps backing off, didn’t work!”
“There should be laws protecting minors… Daily mail – expect to hear from lawyers soon ;)” which is what came next, I wonder if they will actually do anything.
A few days after Bingham Hawn was born the couple, who got engaged in January, explained the name “For those wondering, Bingham is my mum’s maiden name, Bing Russell was also Kurt Russell‘s dad. Family connections all around!”
Obviously the Hawn part of the name comes from Kate’s mom, Goldie Hawn.
Kate Hudson appeared on the Today Show yesterday where she showed off her engagement ring to Matt Lauer during an interview with him and what a ring it is.
Speaking about the engagement to Muse’s Matthew Bellamy she said “I haven’t really announced it, I was waiting for someone to notice,” she also said that the proposal was “romantic and sweet”.
Rumors first started swirling that they were engaged back when they announced she was expecting a baby back in January, there’s no word on when the couple will walk down the aisle.
I’m shocked that this relationship seems to be lasting given her track record with men.

Kate Hudson has landed herself in a bit of hot water with some people after a photograph of her sipping on what looks to be a glass of red wine made it’s way on to Popeater today. The reason she is getting stick is because she is 6-months pregnant.
Kate, who is currently in Argentina with her boyfriend Matt Bellamy as he tours the country with Muse, was spotted at a restaurant with Matt along with her 7-year-old son, Ryder, and Bono where a photographer took a photo of her sipping on a glass of wine while having her dinner.
Anytime a pregnant woman is spotted drinking alcohol there always seems to be different people giving different opinions on what is acceptable and what isn’t. Popeater got someone in who said:
“Right now, no one really knows what amount of alcohol is harmful for the fetus, so it’s recommended that you don’t drink at all during pregnancy.”
Meanwhile the Daily Mail also claim that pregnant women should avoid alcohol altogether however if they do want to have a drink they should drink no more than two units a week – a small glass of wine contains two unites.
I don’t really know what to think, I know plenty of women who have had a few drinks while pregnant and there has been nothing wrong with the babies.
It’s just two weeks since it was announced that Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy were expecting a baby together, now they have reportedly gotten engaged in secret.
Kate and Matt apparently held an intimate party to celebrate the engagement with their close friends and family on Monday night. A source says…
“It was an intimate party. They kept their engagement secret as they wanted to celebrate with their nearest and dearest before it became public knowledge.”
Kate , who already has a 7-year-old son with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, has been dating Matt for the past nine months. They sure are moving fast aren’t they?

Even though Kate Hudson can’t envision herself walking down the aisle anytime soon, her rocker boyfriend Matt Bellamy sure seems like a part of the family.
On Monday, the actress was honored at Elle’s Women in Hollywood event at L.A.’s Four Seasons Hotel, and Bellamy was there and kissing her throughout the event. The two were virtually inseparable all night, holding hands and getting extremely cozy. He even rubbed her back and legs – and she kissed him on the cheek several times.
And while the Muse frontman has already met Hudson’s parents, he seemed especially close with her mother, Goldie Hawn, even switching seats at one point so he could sit next to her. At one point, the two bowed their heads and chatted very intimately.
Not so surprising… she seems to treat every relationship like they’re “the one.”
