Matt Leinart has gone to People to set the record straight on Brynn Cameron’s dead-beat dad claims.
“I love Cole more than anything or anyone,” the Arizona Cardinals quarterback said in an exclusive statement. “I also really care about his mom and would never say anything disparaging about her. I want to help him experience life’s lessons that were taught to me by my mom and dad.”
“Regardless of the allegations made, I have gone to great lengths to increase my custodial time with Cole,” he says. “This includes seeking intervention from the family law court.”
“I don’t know if Cole’s mother is motivated by anger or by financial gain,” he adds, “but it is my sincere hope that one day we will be able to effectively co-parent our son who we both love very much.”

Matt Leinart, the hailed USC quarterback and now quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals, has a son with former USC women’s basketball player Brynn Cameron. Cameron was interviewed in the VENTURA (CA) DAILY STAR where she accuses Leinart of having zero role in the upbringing of his only son:
“It’s kind of hard for me as the mom — I’m with Cole probably 99.9 percent of the time — to open a magazine or read a newspaper article with Matt saying, Oh, I love being a dad. I love changing diapers. I love doing this. I’m like, Wait, what?’ I don’t know how to word how he is about this, but it’s been hard when I’m doing all the work, but he gets all the credit for it.”
The Star also reports that Cameron said that Leinart “comes and goes whenever he wants.”
“I don’t want to sit here and bad-mouth his lifestyle, but it is hard because we are different people. He likes that Hollywood stuff and I don’t like that and raising a kid together, you have to work together as parents, but we’re so different.

Rachel Bilson was sitting nearby at her own table peacefully. And Jesse Metcalf was roaming around.

Just last month, after a flurry of bad press detailing the dethroned pop princess’s pantyless nights of heavy partying, Brit posted a message on her Website apologizing for taking her “newfound freedom a bit too far.” She also wrote, “Thank God for Victoria Secrets’ new underwear line.”
Well, from what I just learned, Spears may still be going commando. An eyewitness reports that Spears appeared not to be wearing underwear Friday night while she partied—and made out with—football star Matt Leinart at the Jackrabbit Lounge in Scottsdale, Arizona. “When she was bending over I saw her white butt,” the eyewitness tells me.
Whether or not Leinart noticed her bare bottom is unknown, but he seemed to take a liking to at least one other. “Matt grabbed a woman’s butt prior to making out with Britney,” my eyewitness says. “He walked by her, grabbed her butt and winked at her.”
Leinart is really classing up the joint, dating the likes of Spears and Paris Hilton. You’d think there are some hot, non-sleazy women in Phoenix.
Less than one hour after midnight last night, Britney Spearscollapsed while at Pure in Las Vegas and may have been rushed to a hospital.
It was reported that Britney had hosted the countdown and then retreated to the club’s outdoor VIP area. Sources say she then told one of her dancers that she wanted to leave. She got up and then collapsed onto the floor. Her security guards then wrapped her up and ushered her out of the club.
A source said, “It appeared as if she was being dragged as she wasn’t walking under her own speed. It looked as if they wanted to get her up to her hotel room as soon as possible.”
An ambulance was summoned to the hotel two hours later, but it is unknown if that was for Britney.

According to reports, the pair were flirting hardcore on the patio area all night long, bumping and grinding and whispering in each others’ ears.
On Monday morning, Less than one hour into the New Year, Spears collapsed at the “Pure” nightclub inside Caesars Palace. Only 50 minutes earlier, she had hosted two countdowns to usher in the New Year - one inside the VIP section at the hip hot nightspot and a 2nd up on the club’s upper outdoor terrace overlooking the famed Vegas Strip.
Of course, her publicist is denying that Britney was even drinking… he said she was just tired. Yeah, ok.

A report last week said that former USC quarterback Matt Leinart was given a bit of a warning from his new NFL team the Arizona Cardinals to be careful with the paparazzi pictures and reportedly he was not to be snapped with Paris Hilton and especially not enjoying a cocktail.

If he puts the Cardinals in the playoffs, I suspect he could date anyone he wants. Until then, though, he should probably stay away from famous skanks.
