Verne “Mini Me” Troyer plans to lawsuit against his sex tape co-star, Ranae Shrider, for allegedly beating him and causing him emotional distress.
Troyer’s lawyer told TMZ that Ranae once picked a lock on his door, pushed away a scooter that was blocking it, and then threw him to the floor. The lawyer released this statement,
“When you pick up a 2′8″ human being and throw him to the floor, it hurts.”
In the lawsuit, which will be filed in Federal court any moment, Troyer is accusing Shrider of intentional infliction of emotional distress and battery.

Jamie Lynn says that being away from the shining lights of Hollywood is making it easier to learn the ins and outs of first-time motherhood.
“Around here, everyone has the same focus. The focus is family, and that’s a good way to live.”
The 17-year-old actress talks about everything — from taking parenting classes to life inside the new home she shares with Maddie and boyfriend Casey Aldridge, to her first experience with labor pains.
“They’d told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours. I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.”

If you ever wanted to see Mini Me having sex, a judge says it’s okay:
  The woman in a sex tape featuring Verne Troyer — best known for his role in the “Austin Powers” movies — says she allowed celebrity Web site TMZ to broadcast snippets of the tape. Troyer’s ex-girlfriend, Ranae Shrider, signed a declaration filed in federal court in Los Angeles stating the tape was created with her video camera. Her statement prompted a judge to allow TMZ to reinstate a post featuring snippets of the tape.
The judge had temporarily barred TMZ from showing or broadcasting any portion of the tape on its Web site or TV show. The post was restored by Tuesday evening.
The judge has still barred a porn distributor named in a $20 million lawsuit filed by Troyer from distributing or taking orders for the 50-minute tape.
Troyer starred as Mini Me in two “Austin Powers” movies. His lawsuit alleged the tape was stolen. Shrider’s statement says she believes she also owns the tape, but so far has only given permission to TMZ to air it.
This gives more credibility to Justice Potter Stewart’s famous line about pornography (actually, obscenity, if you want to be technical about it): “I know it when I see it.” Still, there are some things I don’t want to see. This may just top the list.

The latter, the June 25th report that launched the suit in question, makes light of the whole matter,
Yes, that’s Mini-Me Verne Troyer in a sex tape shot with his former live-in girlfriend at the couple’s apartment. A third party has snatched up the tape and although no deal has been made, we hear dealer Kevin Blatt, who brokered the deal for Paris’ video, is entertaining a $100k offer from SugarDVD to distribute the nastiness. We would have thought the tape was worth at least ONE BILLION DOLLARS.

Former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has unknowingly suffered from a broken arm for the past three weeks and may have a tumor in his arm.
The star has been forced to cancel upcoming shows with his new band +44 and is devastated that his painful condition could potentially be serious.
Barker’s record company released a statement on Wednesday saying the rocker had broken his arm during the band’s recent music video shoot and that he would be recovering for eight weeks.
Barker posted a message on his official MySpace.com webpage on Thursday saying, “So as of now I won’t be playing on Saturday with (DJ) AM or any of the upcoming +44 shows.
“I had the worst pain in my arm the day after we filmed our video and I really thought nothing of it. We played for eight hours like I usually do but I guess this time was different.
“I then played our entire European leg of our promo tour in the worst pain I’ve experienced ever. I got x-rays in London by an urgent care doctor that said he couldn’t determine what exactly had happened.
“When I got back to LA I saw another doctor and had every test possible to see what was going on in my arm.
“The MRI/x-ray showed I had been playing with a broken arm for 3 weeks and or a possible tumor in my arm. I’m at a loss for words, just taking everything one day at a time.” source
Madonna is following the footsteps of Angelina Jolie. Say what you will; I’m not going to knock this sort of behavior, given I myself was adopted. I think it’s a selfless thing to do and a tremendous benefit to the children they adopt. I just wish more was done with the countless orphans we have in our own country.
I still can’t believe how much Lourdes looks like Madonna in that picture above. There’s a lot of talk about celebrities with their “mini me” children; this one is truly remarkable.
Madonna arrived in Malawi on Wednesday on a mission to help AIDS orphans - and may leave with a child adopted in this impoverished southern African country. Andrina Mchiela, secretary to the minister for gender and child welfare, said the pop star planned to adopt a child and launch six projects to help underprivileged children during her stay. Madonna and her husband, director Guy Ritchie, have a son, Rocco, 5, and the singer also has a daughter, Lourdes, 9.
Madonna and an entourage of some 10 people landed on a private plane in the capital Lilongwe just after 9 a.m., according to Mchiela. There had been no prior announcement.
Madonna was expected to spend Wednesday resting in the capital, Lilongwe. She was to travel Thursday to Mphandula, a village about 30 miles from the capital, where she wants to set up an education and feeding center for children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic.
Malawi is among the poorest countries in the world, trapped in a seemingly endless cycle of hunger and disease. HIV/AIDS infects just over 14 percent of the 12 million population - most of them economically active adults - and has left an estimated 1 million children orphaned.
