Kim Kardashian has landed a scolding from PETA after posting a photo of her holding a cat by the scruff of its neck on Twitter.
“Pic from my shoot yesterday…good kitty cat!†she tweeted.
Only PETA doesn’t agree. In a statement, the animal rights organization said,
“Kim Kardashian isn’t the only person who mistakenly thinks that because a mother cat picks up her kittens by the scruff of the neck that a supportive hand under the rump isn’t needed.â€
Not so fast. On the other side of the pond, the RSPCA told Confidential that Kim’s handling of the kitty is how they generally pick up their own cats. “But if it’s a larger cat, we’d put the hand under the rump,†they added. “She’s at least half right.â€
“Hey guys! So yesterday I was doing a photo shoot with an adorable black kitty cat and I Twitpic’d this picture… I have been getting negative comments regarding the way I was holding the kitty, but rest assured, the owner and vet were on set and showed me how to pick him up. The cat was not harmed in any way and is perfectly fine! I love animals and would never do anything to harm any animals.”

Joss Stone has bared all for a new animal rights campaign to ban black bear pelts worn by royal guards in the UK.
The singer has teamed up with PETA in an effort to convince officials to get rid of the Canadian bear fur caps worn by the officers.
A source told the Sunday Mirror:
“The plight of wild bears hunted for their skins and for fun is a subject very close to her heart. She hates the fact that Canadian black bears are slaughtered for their skins to make the Queen’s Guards’ ceremonial caps so decided to peel off for the campaign.
It was quite full-on. She’s laying on a Union Jack with nothing on. It sends a message to the Palace over the fur they use. They are beautiful pictures and she was very comfortable being without clothes.”
The ads will be launching later this year.

Octomom Nadya Suleman, whose financial troubles have been well-documented, has accepted an offer from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA): $5,000 and a month’s supply of vegan hot dogs and hamburger patties for her family of 15 in exchange for allowing the animal-rights group to place an ad on her lawn.
The ad — which, in light of Suleman’s status as a paparazzi magnet, is likely to attract a lot of eyeballs — makes light of the mother of 14′s “Octomom” nickname. “Don’t let your dog or cat become an ‘octomom’,” it reads, “Always spay or neuter. PETA.” Pictured beside the text is a mother cat nursing a litter of young kittens.
Suleman’s La Habra home was purchased by means of a deal in which owner Amer Haddadin agreed to carry the $450,000 loan for a year until her father could gather the money for a down payment, according to our sister blog L.A. Now. But Haddadin says that the family has fallen behind in their payments and that evicting Suleman and her children is a possibility.
PETA’s Michelle Cho wrote to Suleman to propose the advertising deal, noting in her letter that “[taking] us up on our offer is a win-win situation. It would help you and your children to keep your home and also reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats.”
In the wake of reports about Suleman’s recent financial trouble, she also received another unorthodox offer: Vivid Entertainment, an adult-film production company, offered to pay off her mortgage in exchange for appearing in a porn movie.
Although Vivid’s co-chairman, Steven Hirsch, made assurances that the company would allow Suleman to provide input on the script and co-stars and that the movie would be as tastefully done as possible, it appears she’s rejected the offer. Her lawyer, Jeff Czech, e-mailed the Associated Press regarding Suleman’s decision: “No porn. Just Peta. Nadya prefers animals over men.”
According to PETA, the group is still working out the details of its arrangement with Suleman.
PETA have gone and upset Michelle Obama and The White House by using her image in an ad without any consent.
The White House didn’t take too kindly to the ad, which was released today shows Carrie Underwood, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Tyra Banks along with the slogan “Fur-Free and Fabulous!”
Semonti Stephens, a spokeswoman for the First Lady said “we did not consent.” She then went on to say that “Mrs. Obama does not wear fur.”
PETA are now using this to their advantage and saying “the fact is that Michelle Obama has issued a statement indicating that she doesn’t wear fur, and the world should know that in PETA’s eyes, that makes her pretty fabulous.â€
PETA are tacky in everything they do, regardless of whether they got consent or not, this image is just way to tacky.
Bethenny Frankel, a hot chick from some show I’ve never seen called The Real Housewives of New York City, is the latest woman to show some skin for a PETA ad.

Be warned, however, that this video contains some NSFW nudity and some very graphic images of animals being killed, skinned and tortured. Not necessarily in that order.

I was looking around for interesting images the other day, and happened upon one of my favorite pictures of Anne Hathaway (which is on this list). The most noticeable feature of the picture is the incredible side boobage that seems to leap from the image and scream “gaze upon me in all of my glory, for I am side boob.”
What is it about the side boob that is so appealing? Is it the hint of what lies just out of reach? I tend to appreciate a good side boob more than a great under boob image, although some men (and women) may disagree.

Judging by reports from costars and anyone else that has had the misfortune to spend more than five minutes working on a film or Grey’s Anatomy with her, however, she can be a complete bitch.
Oh well, that is one fantastic side boob.

Joanna Krupa is ridiculously hot in her new ad for PETA, but apparently Catholics hate puppies.
The Catholic League has condemned the “Be an Angel for Animals” campaign, calling PETA animal killers and accusing them of exploiting Christian symbols. Personally I think that if angels looked like that, there would be more Christians.
Quit being douchebags, Catholic League people.
Krupa responded to the zealots with a zinger, saying:
“As a practicing Catholic, I am shocked that the Catholic League is speaking out against my PETA ads, which I am very proud of. I’m doing what the Catholic Church should be doing, working to stop senseless suffering of animals, the most defenseless of god’s creation. It’s understandable that the Catholic League is wary of another sex scandal, but the sex we’re talking about pertains to dogs and cats.”
Last month we posted some very hot semi nude pictures of Keeley Hazell doing her bit for PETA. Well now the remaining more photos have been published in Loaded Magazine.
I’m glad they didn’t let these photos go to waste and end up in the trash, even if it means cashing in on her PETA campaigns. Again I don’t have much to say other than Dean Freeman did a good job at photographing her naked.

Finally! PETA has an ad that actually features a hot celebrity getting naked for their Don’t Wear Fur campaign. This time the animal activists called up Keeley Hazell.
Keeley shot two ads for the campaign but they both have the same slogan, “when it comes to experiencing pain and suffering, we are all animals.” She is topless in both photographs which were shot by Dean Freeman, in one photo she holds a toy leopard that is covering her ass. Damn that leopard.
She tells PETA, “I always make a point of telling stylists at shoots that I won’t wear fur. It’s never been a problem after all, everyone from Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood to H&M and Topshop have no-fur policies, I like to support designers who are able to create fashionable and popular clothes without getting blood on their hands.â€
Everybody should offer Keeley Hazell fur to wear so that she will walk around naked.
Dominique Swain, a PETA spokeswoman who once did a nude ad condemning the wearing of fur, was caught dropping eight unvaccinated puppies off at an animal shelter.
The 29 year old actress showed up at a Malibu shelter this weekend, bearing a box filled with eight-week-old cuteness. According to a witness, she said that she could not afford the vaccinations as she unloaded the helpless puppies from her BMW.
According to a witness via Fox News,
“She was really rude. Eventually she said she would make a small donation, but just left the pups there and drove off.”
Dominique Swain posed at 21 for a racy PETA ad (which I have kindly supplied below), and stated,
“If all I have to do is stand in front of a blackboard naked to make people think about the cruelty that animals go through to make a fur coat, I’m perfectly willing.”
I guess the douchebag doesn’t consider the fact that the shelter will most likely euthanize those eight babies cruel?
Oh well, below the fold is Dominique Swain’s PETA ad (the only thing I’ve ever seen her do that was useful), and several other PETA ads I dug up just because I love you guys.
Joining the ranks of fellow celebrities such as Karina Smirnoff, Alicia Silverstone, and Holly Madison, “New Moon” star Christian Serratos is taking it all off for PETA.
Christian joins their “I’d Rather Go Naked” campaign by going naked in a scene that looks straight out of the vampire flick.
If you want to see more of the clothed version of Christian, “New Moon” comes out on November 20th. She plays Bella Swan’s human friend, Angela. In case this pic looks vague, it’s probably because they’re trying to hide the fact that she’s barely legal. In other pics, she looks younger than Hannah Montana.

Steve-O wants you to know that you have the right to refuse to dissect animals. That’s why he posed for his latest peta2 ad (fully clothed this time) bearing the tagline, “Cut Class, Not Frogs.”
I mean, come on. Who better to encourage you to cut class than our good buddy, Steve-O, right?!
These animals don’t donate their bodies to science and they don’t die of natural causes. They are purchased from factory farms, fur farms, animal shelters, breeders, and dealers who often pick up strays, answer “free to a good home” ads, and have even been known to take people’s animal companions right out of their yards.
Students aren’t always aware that they have the right to refuse to participate in dissection, and often teachers try to pressure them by threatening them with a failing grade. Steve-O said,
“We shouldn’t make kids dissect animals. They should have the choice to say, “On a moral level, I’m not into that, and I choose not to do it.”
