Playboy Portugal have featured Jesus Christ on the cover and in a spread for the July issue as a tribute to Nobel Prize-winning author Jose Saramago’s novel The Gospel According to Jesus Christ.
This didn’t go down too well with thousands of people, including the people at Playboy headquarters, and has now resulted in the Portuguese edition of Playboy being shut down. A rep for Playboy commented saying…
“We did not see or approve the cover and pictorial in the July issue of Playboy Portugal. It is a shocking breach of our standards, and we would not have allowed it to be published if we had seen it in advance. As a result of this and other issues with the Portuguese publisher, we are in the process of terminating our agreement.”
The photos show Jesus next to a street hooker, a topless girl reading a book and two lesbians about to kiss each other. I myself don’t mind these photos but I can see why it would upset some people. It is a good spread and more interesting than the typical Playboy photoshoots.

Lady GaGa‘s new music video for Alejandro, although from the preview I’m calling it Vogue part 2 because it looks exactly the same, is set to premiere within the next hour. Another thing that could premiere soon is a GaGa spread in Playboy.
Apparently she is desperate to get the cover and a spread in the Hugh Hefner‘s magazine because she wants to do even more “artsy and shocking stuff”. A source says…
“She thinks it will be an experience, and she’s always looking to grow as an artist. She doesn’t think there’s anything distasteful about it. She sees it as just another form of expression. She’s been chatting with everyone about it all week. She’s always been a fan of Hugh Hefner’s, and his whole sex-as-art kind of thing. She’s always looking to shock and entertain, and something like this would be perfect for her. She wants her shoot to be like nothing Playboy has every seen before. If she doesn’t drop it, her nude shoot will be like nothing Playboy has ever seen!”
Playboy made an offer for GaGa to appear in the magazine last year but she turned them down and said she might change her mind down the road if she has an album to plug. And guess what? She will have an album to plug either at the end of the year or early 2011 so she might just be stripping naked.
That is if her team allow her to do it, apparently all of her management and friends are telling her that posing for Playboy would be one step too far in trying to shock the world and could damage her career.

Praise the lord because Playboy have finally gotten a relevant and extremely sexy celebrity to pose nude in for an upcoming issue, this is of course Kelly Brook.
Apparently the magazine have coughed up a whopping $500,00 to get Kelly to pose nude for the magazine later in the year. Her agent said…
“She’s absolutely thrilled. It’s such a great honor for her, especially when you think about the icons that have graced the cover of the magazine over the years. This is a huge opportunity for Kelly who is without doubt one of the world’s most beautiful women. Playboy is an iconic publication which is known across the world as a sophisticated title. It’s a real honor to be asked to do Playboy as obviously they are very picky about who they want.”
Kelly Brook will be shooting the cover and photoshoot in the Mediterranean later in the month so hopefully we get some candids to give us a preview, until then check out her hot photoshoot in FHM Magazine.

Kim Kardashian has been hitting the headlines a lot this week, first she posed nude for Harper’s Bazaar magazine and then she got into trouble with PETA, but now she is doing it again by saying she regrets posing for Playboy.
I thought Kim’s biggest mistake she made would have been her boring ass sex tape but it seems stripping down for Playboy is the top of her list and the person she is blaming it on? Her mother, Kris Jenner, of course.
She says, “I’m sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable.”
As for her mothers words: “Go for it they might never ask you again. Our show isn’t on the air yet. No one knows who you are. Do it and you’ll have these beautiful pictures to look at when you’re my age.”
Kim was around 26-years-old around the time of her Playboy cover so she really shouldn’t be using the excuses like “mom made me do it.” While I’m sure Kris Jenner did tell her to do it, because she is one of those mothers that want’s to live through their kids.
But at the end of the day Kim Kardashian is an adult and doesn’t have to do anything she doesn’t want to. I’m guessing her main regret is that it was before she got all the surgery done to her.

Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively could soon be posing naked for Playboy Magazine, according to new reports, and she could get a cool $2.5 million deal for it.
Blake, who will soon be starring as Ryan Reynolds lover in The Green Lantern movie, has apparently been in talks with Playboy and is asking for $2.5 million to shed all her clothes.
A source said it is starting to cause trouble in her family, “Blake’s mom has been in the business a long time and knows Kim Basinger and other actresses really benefited from posing for Playboy early in their careers, But her dad Ernie is old-school. He says, ‘Over my dead body.’â€
The sources say that this is Blake’s, who is 22-years-old, plan to distance herself from being considered just a teen star so she is going try and distance herself from that image. I wonder what The CW would think of their golden girl stripping down naked for Playboy Magazine?
Why is it that young starlets always want to get naked in order to banish their good girl image? Blake Lively could easily take on a hard hitting role to make herself seem a legit actress, although I would much rather her strip down naked.

I don’t really know why he is giving an interview to Playboy because I don’t think he has anything to promote but on top of talking about dating Simpson, who he dated from 2006-2007, he is also dishing about Jennifer Aniston and his love for porn.

After coming across these photos of Karissa and Kristina Shannon, I can now see why exactly Hugh Hefner dumped their ass.

Do you consider yourself a feminist?: “Yes and no. I feel like the term “feminist†has become so watered down that it’s almost become meaningless.”
You seem like a different kind of porn star than people are used to.: “I’d like to believe that I evoke a different idea of what an adult star is supposed to be. I think society is often uneasy with young women who present both their sexuality and intellect. In one respect I am happy to have the ability to shine a positive light on our sexual freedom, but most female celebrities who are considered sex symbols aren’t thought of as strong individuals intellectually. Men like Matt Damon and George Clooney are thought of as both. I would like to see that shift.”
Ya know, most pornstars are pretty stupid, she seems to have a bit of intelligence to her and she is hot. So, Sasha Grey is a win for me.
