After a recent fundraiser at the Playboy Mansion left attendees sick, Los Angeles County public health officials investigated and found the bacteria that causes Legionnaires’ disease in a water source.
The LA Times reports that Dr. Jonathan Fielding, director of the county Department of Public Health, said other bacteria and viruses are still being investigated, as Legionella bacteria are “commonly found in moist environments.” Hmm, like the Playboy Mansion’s infamous grotto (picture above, right), maybe?
Health officials suspect Legionella bacteria, which causes Legionnaires’ disease, an affliction causing respiratory illness, fever and chills.
After a Feb. 1-3 conference for DomainFest concluding with a Playboy Mansion fundraiser, numerous people fell ill.
DomainFest sent out a statement yesterday urging anyone who attended the event to “fill out a confidential survey to assist health officials with their investigation,” the Times reports.
According to the Center for Disease Control, healthy people typically recover from Legionnaires’ disease, treatable by antibiotics, but it’s possible for death to befall 5 percent to 30 percent of those infected. Roughly 8,000 – 18,000 people are hospitalized with Legionnaires’ disease annually in the U.S.
Legionnaires’ disease gets its name from a 1976 American Legion convention in Philadelphia, when a group of attendees (sound familiar?) contracted the illness. Media dubbed it the “Philly Killer” at the time, according to Science Clarified.

“One of the girls asked me if I wanted to go upstairs to Hef’s room. In my head I could hear my mom’s voice, ‘You know they have orgies there.’ I said ‘Okay, if I have to.’ It seemed like every other girl was going and if I didn’t it would be weird. One by one, each girl hopped on Hef and had sex with him for about a minute. I studied their every move. Then it was my turn, it was very weird. I wasn’t thinking about how much older Hef was, all the body parts worked the same. I wanted to be there.”
This all sounds very romantic, I wonder how many playmates Hugh Hefner has in his bedroom everynight and I also wonder how his heart manages it.

Karissa and Kristina Shannon are no longer the ‘Girls Next Door‘ after moving out of the Playboy Playmate house.
The 20-year-old twins used to live with Hugh Hefner, 83, at the Playboy Mansion but left earlier this year. The two girls then moved in to the Playmate house in the grounds in January but they have since moved out completely.
Karissa said of the split:
“After a couple of weeks, Hef was getting a little bit upset about the boyfriends, so he wanted us to move out. We need to update people about what’s going on.”
Karissa has since moved in with her boyfriend Sam Jones III and Kristina has reportedly recently finished her relationship with Stephen Dorff.
Talking about the reason for moving out, Karissa said: “We were not allowed to have boys in the house. That was the absolute number one rule – no boys allowed. That was one of the main reasons we moved out. But living there and being seen out with other guys, [Hugh] was tripping.”
Ahhhhh, I get it… they didn’t read the fine print in the contract.

Celebrity Divorces linked with Hugh Hefner & Twins Break Up
Kendra Wilkinson‘s son Hank Baskett IV went on his first visit to the Playboy Mansion — to meet Uncle Hefner.
Oh yes, she did.
“Goin over to the mansion today to visit @hughhefner,” she Twittered Monday. “Lil Hank gets to meet him today!! So excited!”
Wilkinson, 24, and her husband, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Hank Baskett, welcomed the boy last Dec. 11. (At the time, Hefner, 83, Wilkinson’s ex, called the baby’s arrival “a wonderful Christmas present.”)
She recently Twittered that she can’t believe how fast her son is growing. She just put him “in a 6-9 [month] outfit [and] it fit,” she wrote.
Despite her hectic mommy schedule, Wilkinson said she and her husband still find time for loving.
 “When the baby sleeps, we have sex!.
That’s what it is for us. That’s why it’s so cool to be young parents because we have the energy to do that.”

After coming across these photos of Karissa and Kristina Shannon, I can now see why exactly Hugh Hefner dumped their ass.
On top of how stupid they both act, the fact that they would show up to an event at the Playboy Mansion (or anywhere at all including a McDonalds) would be enough to make me dump anybody. Even if they were twins who would do anything in bed.
It’s not even the clothes that bother me it’s that ratty hair they have going on, they both just look dirty and they always look bloated in the face. Maybe I’m too picky?

Over the weekend former Playboy playmate and The Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson married football player Hank Baskett.
The happy couple were married on Saturday at the Playboy mansion.

Kendra Wilkinson and NFL player Hank Baskett became husband and wife on Saturday at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.
The newlyweds got married at around 7pm out in the back garden with over 500 guests watching including Bridget Marquardt, Holly Madison and of course Hugh Hefner.
Michael Barin provided Kendra with over $100,000 in jewlyerywhich included 4.25-carat platinum drop earrings, a 2.5-carat platinum pendant and a 4.5-carat bracelet.
Hank and his groomsmen all wore white and Kendra’s brother, Colin, walked her down the aisle after she changed her mind (Hugh Hefner was originally supposed to – akward).
Holly who along with Bridget was part of Kendra’s bridesmaids said “she looked like a princess. It was a beautiful setting for a wedding. It was a princess dress, which was fitting. It was really pretty and she looked gorgeous. They’re definitely ready for their honeymoon now. They need a vacation.”
Kendra and Hank had their first dance to “I Cross My Heart” by George Strait, she then had her second dance with Hugh Hefner.
Kendra soon took to her blog to not only blog about being married but also promote her E! show she says…

Kendra Wilkinson says she won’t be posing nude anytime soon. To not come off as sounding like a sourpuss, she says that she still uses the stripper pole. Sex sells that reality show, doesn’t it?

She says, “A guy should fall in love with who they met, you know what I’m saying? I never change. Hank knows where I come from, he knows I lived at the Playboy mansion for the last five years of my life. I still am wild – but not as wild.”
She reveals that she uses the stripper pole for exercise purposes only. She adds, “It’s strictly a workout. That’s all it is. At first when I told Hank about the stripper pole, he did not know what it was. He was like, ‘Are you serious? No, you can’t do that.’ He’s a very conservative guy. It’s just a lot of fun. He even gets on it now sometimes.”
As far as the nudity is concerned, she’s not having any of it. She says, “He gets really mad when I do stuff like that.”
I’m holding out for photos of Hank Baskett on the stripper pole, I don’t know about you.
