Rachel on the car accident she was in at age 14: “It was a really bad accident. Like helicopters to the hospital and Jaws of Life. People were really badly hurt. We were lucky that nobody died.â€
Rachel on the memory problems she suffers as a result of the accident: “People will ask, ‘Remember when we were here?’ and I’ll be like, ‘Huh?’â€
Rachel, a self-professed hip hop fan, on Nas and the Pharcyde: “They’re so f*cking rad. I’ve seen them live.â€
Rachel on Britney Spears: “I think people just need to leave her the f*ck alone. You see things on the news—hundreds of paparazzi. She can’t drive her car. I don’t know what she is doing as a mother, but that’s a really hard place to be.â€
Rachel on “rumours†she’s dating Hayden Christensen: “All I can say is, I don’t talk about the personal stuff. It’s the one thing you can keep to yourself. At least you try to. I can say that I’m happy. Yeah, I’m happy with my love life, that’s all I’ll say.â€
As if things weren’t nasty enough… seeing Paris Hiltonkissing onTravis Barker. It appears that the self-proclaimed icon has now set her claws into Kid Rock!
I was listening to the radio today, Channel 933 for all you San Diegans, and one of the DJ’s was talking about her weekend trip to Los Angeles, where she saw Paris Hilton making out with Kid Rock. Ew, both trashy sluts.
-I went to Hollywood hot spot Les Duex on Friday night and I saw Paris Hilton Hooking up with Kid Rock! Yes, I saw her drunk dancing all over him kissing him. Travis Barker was also there earlier, before Paris was all over Kid Rock. Her sis Nikki Hilton was also in the house partying with Matt Leinart. Rachel Bilson was sitting nearby at her own table peacefully. And Jesse Metcalf was roaming around.
Fox has canceled “The O.C.,” a one-time teen pop culture sensation.
“The O.C.,” the once-hot teenage soap opera that saw its ratings plummet like a delinquent student’s grades, has been canceled. The final episode of the drama will air 9 p.m. EST Thursday, Feb. 22, Fox TV and Warner Bros. Television Production Inc. said Wednesday.
The finale “will deliver real closure to the series, to the story we began telling four years ago,” series creator Josh Schwartz said in a statement. “It will be fun and emotional and I think really satisfying. It is the finale we always planned to do.”
Based in the affluent Orange County, Calif., city of Newport Beach, “The O.C.” caught fire in its first season, 2003-04, as the top-rated drama among advertiser-favored young adults and with a total audience of nearly 10 million.
The show’s story lines revolved around Ryan (Benjamin McKenzie), an outsider thrust into a heady new world of money and sex, and rich high school kids including Seth Cohen (Adam Brody) and Marissa Cooper (Mischa Barton) and their families.
“The O.C.” didn’t sustain its momentum, dropping to about 7 million weekly viewers during 2004-05 and then to fewer than 6 million last season. This year, returning in November after Fox wrapped its postseason baseball coverage, “The O.C.” has only drawn about 4 million viewers.
My guess is that the 14-year-old girls who were watching the show when it debuted have grown up and not been replaced by others.
Rachel Bilson – “The Last Kiss” Press Conference with Tony Goldwyn, Zach Braff, Blythe Danner and Rachel Bilson – Beverly Hills – August 20, 2006. It looks like Rachel has lightened her hair… I’m thinking she’s looking rather good too!
The OC stars Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson screamed for help when a coyote entered their trailer looking for leftover food. Crew members on the Malibu, California, production rushed to Barton’s trailer after hearing the girls’ cries. After chasing the wild animal away into nearby hills, production on the hit TV show continued.
I thought it was just tornadoes that attacked trailers.
Egotastic’s Phil thinks the O.C. presents an unrealistic image of American teen life.
None of the teenage girls on the show (save Taylor) had any form of parental supervision whatsoever.

And to cap it all off, how does the show end? Why with all the main characters having sex in their empty houses (or trailers). Seth and Summer get all Tantric, while Ryan and Sadie do it under the unfluence of paint fumes. And then there’s Marissa, who hooks up with the ever sketchy Volchok. And man do they go at it.
That, plus the fact that the teenagers are all played by supermodel caliber women in their mid-20s. Not that that’s unusual. Check out an episode of “Smallville” some time. They’ve got 24-year-old Allison Mack playing the homely, nerdy girl. Think what that does for the self-confidence of the average 17-year-old. But I digress.
To provide context for those of us who are not regular viewers, Phil helpfully provides “a video of the last scene in the episode, complete with Marissa (Micsha Barton) down to her bra, and some highly suggestive background music.” There are plenty of photos and screen caps, too, to help you get the idea.
Many more photos, plus the aforementioned sex video, at the link.
