Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane recently checked himself into a rehab center in Los Angeles to battle his addiction with painkillers his rep has confirmed.
The 38-year-old actor is nearly finished a 30-day stint in the rehab center and will soon return to the Grey’s Anatomy set, which started back filming on July 19th. His rep released a statement to RadarOnline saying:
“Actor Eric Dane voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to help him get off of pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus. He reports back to work next week. Business as usual.”
Just two weeks ago it was revealed that his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, is pregnant with their second child so Dane apparently told a close friend that he has far “too much to lose” and that he “things spiraling out of control and decided he needed to get some help.”
Its good that he realizes that he needed to get help especially considering his wife is pregnant.
Just yesterday it was announced that Whitney Houston is in an out-patient rehabilitation program for drugs and alcohol and now she has been given a ban from seeing Prince in concert because she is basically a mess.
TMZ reports that people working for Prince have gotten so sick of her drunken behavior and constant ticket demands so they have now banned her from attending his future shows.
On top of being drunk, and possibly on drugs, at every show she also wanted to get up on stage at most of the shows so they eventually let her up on stage at The Forum in Los Angeles and this is the result of that:
What a mess. In other news, Radar Online are reporting that Whitney’s is going back to the old days with her choice of drugs if Bobby Brown is to be believe. He is going around saying that Whitney is back on crack. A friend of Bobby said “It’s the worst it’s ever been. Whitney went on tour again, and that’s when the relapse occurred. Whitney’s shutting a lot of people out of her life. It is a dire situation.”
Let’s all get a prayer circle together and hope she gets herself together, but I honestly don’t see it happening for a long time.
Earlier today TMZ broke the news that Whitney Houston had checked herself in to an out-patient rehabilitation program but sources close to the singer said it wasn’t for drugs or alcohol. But now it’s been confirmed that it is indeed for drugs.
Whitney entered the program at her own will about 10 days ago to help battle her ongoing trouble with alcohol and drugs, a rep for the singer confirms it telling People:
“Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment, Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process.”
In the out-patient program Whitney is allowed out in public as long as she wears a montior on her. A source also said that part of the reason she entered this program is to help “cleanse” herself for a new movie.
Richie Sambora is on the way to rehab while in the middle of a tour with Bon Jovi for help with his exhaustion and after falling off the bandwagon with his sobriety and since Denise Richards was spotted posing in a bikini, I figured why not throw them in the same post?
This isn’t the first time he has been in rehab, he spent a month at the Cirque Lodge in Utah back in 2007 – around the time that he broke up Denise’s friendship with Heather Locklear because he was banging both of them. A source talks to Radar Online about his latest rehab adventures:
”Richie recently has been drinking too much, and wants to get his life together. Richie has had a busy year. I think this was a culmination of all the things that overloaded his life and finally he realized he needed to take care of himself.”
This is while Bon Jovi is set to play more tour dates in the U.S. before moving onto to Europe in June. It’s not known how this will affect the tour yet. While I’m sure your so concerned about Richie, why not enjoy these photos of Denise in her bikini. She’s still got it in my opinion.
Demi Lovato has signed on to be a contributing editor for Seventeen and she will post articles twice a month on the website. In her first edition she is finally opening up about her trip to rehab a couple of months ago.
On her breakdown: “I basically had a nervous breakdown. I was really bad off. My parents and my manager pulled me aside and said, ‘You need to get some help.’ It was an intervention. I wanted freedom from the inner demons. I wanted to start my life over.”
On being tempted to bounce back: “Yes, there have been times when I definitely have been tempted to get rid of my dinner. But I will deal with it for the rest of my life because it’s a life-long disease. I don’t think there’s going to be a day when I don’t think about food or my body, but I’m living with it, and I wish I could tell young girls to find their safe place and stay with it.”
On how she stays strong: “I don’t let anyone’s insecurities, emotions, or opinions bother me. I know that if I am happy, that’s all that matters to me. And it’s okay to be selfish like that sometimes, when it comes to your well-being. Do what makes you happy, and don’t care what others think.”
On top of writing for Seventeen she has also teamed up with the Jed Foundation to help teenage girls suffering from the same issues that she faced herself. I know most people, including myself, don’t really care or know much about Demi Lovato but I do have to hand it to her for opening up and wanting to help other people.
I actually forgot all about Seann William Scott that was until I read that he checked himself into a treatment facility last night, his rep says it’s for “health and personal issues.”
“Seann William Scott has voluntarily admitted himself for proactive treatment to address health and personal issues. He appreciates the support of his many fans at this time.”
It’s unknown what exactly his personal issues are, it could basically be anything. But I find it strange that his rep released a statement for his “many” fans, let’s be honest if it wasn’t for this rep nobody would notice that he was in a facility. Either way I hope he gets bet the treatment he needs.
Just as the title says – Aaron Carter has checked himself into rehab. Although despite looking like a huge crack head he hasn’t checked himself in for drugs, his manager Johnny Wright said it’s for “emotional and spiritual issues.” Here is what he told E! News…
“Several months ago Aaron came to me to help him return to music and to restart his career. He has been in Orlando working on a new album and perfecting his live show and his physical body. Aaron, understanding the challenges and hard work it would take to get himself back to the top, requested to take some time before we started to heal some emotional and spiritual issues he was dealing with. Therefore he has chosen to enter a facility where he feels he will get the guidance and cleansing he needs that will help him on the music journey he’s about to take. He asks that everyone keep him in their prayers and that they respect his privacy at this time.”
I can’t say I’m too surprised over this news, the fact that he’s even bothering making a new album shocks me more than him going to rehab.
A.J. McLean from the Backstreet Boys is back in rehab for the third time because he was out of control, well that’s what a source tells TMZ.
A.J. was in rehab back in 2001 and 2002 for alcohol and cocaine abuse, no word on what substance he has been using this time around but I’m going to take a guess and say it’s the same.
Source say that during a Backstreet Boys cruise last month he appeared to be out of it the whole time and that it has been interfering with the joint Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block tour.
He took to his Twitter account on Sunday saying “Hey all wish me luck! This is gonna be an amazing year for me and all around me! I love u all and appreciate all the love and support” and then again on Monday writing “See u on the other side!”

Earlier today it was reported that Lindsay Lohan wanted to stay an extra few days in rehab even though she could have been released today. Well that was wrong because the bitch is out and free to do what she wants.
Lindsay completed her stint at the Betty Ford Center and is now a free woman, the people of Los Angeles better watch out because I’m sure it wont take her long before she is driving around doing nothing. Dina Lohan says…

She doesn’t need the stress right now, I just want to move on and have a positive year. It has been a long two years for us, and we are happy that it’s almost over.”
I guess fair enough that Lindsay actually completed her stint in rehab but does Dina actually think we believe her? We all know that she is going to be the first person calling up the paparazzi and tipping them off.

David Arquette has checked himself into a rehab facility over the weekend for his dependency on alcohol as well as depression over the breakdown of his marriage.
Source say that he definitely isn’t in rehab for drugs, just alcohol and depression, they also say that this was bound to happen because he thinks it’s the “right thing to do for his family.”
His ex-wife, Courteney Cox, released a statement saying “I really admire David and his choice to take charge and better his life. I love and support him.”
Well good for him I guess, especially considering he checked himself into rehab during the most alcohol filled time of the year. I’m guessing he isn’t like me and dying with a hangover at the moment.
Lindsay Lohan is almost finished her stint at the Betty Ford rehab center but she isn’t willing to finish quietly because the other day she was caught partying while living at her sober living house and now she is accused of battering one of the staff members.
Let’s start back last week when Lindsay’s roomates in the sober house decided to have a little party and the booze started flying, but they were caught and got into trouble. Lindsay was supposedly liquor free though so she gets off with that one.
But instead of just apologizing for breaking her curfew Lindsay got all up in the face of one of the employees and then police were called “hand-to-hand battery”. Apparently the staff member isn’t going to let this one fly because she is demanding Lindsay be prosecuted. If this happens then her ass could be sent back to jail, yeah as if that is ever going to happen – look how many times she’s gotten off so far.
Lindsay is telling a different story, of course, as she is saying that while she did push the woman it was in self defense because the woman was “unfairly scolding her” and then “put her hands on Lindsay.” Standing up for herself, Lindsay says she just pushed back.
What a mess, only Lindsay Lohan could end up in a huge fight at the rehab facility that she is about to graduate from and then face another jail sentence for it. Does this bitch ever learn?

Demi Lovato had private photos leak online the other day and everyone assumed that there would be a sex tape to follow after X17 Online reported it.
X17 claimed that a barely legal Demi filmed herself having sex with some young guy while she was on tour over the summer all while her uncle, Francisco Lovato, stopped people entering her tour bus. But a rep for Demi released a statement saying….
“Perpetrating these completely unfounded rumors from supposed sources while Demi is in treatment dealing with serious physical and emotional issues is disgusting. The sourcing on this report is so spotty that it is hard to fully respond, Francisco Lovato is the brother of Demi’s estranged father. He never traveled on the tour, and certainly didn’t serve as some sort of chaperone. We would ask serious news outlets to strongly consider the source of this story before they regurgitate it.”
I wouldn’t exactly call the rumors “disgusting,” when you have photos like the ones she did leak online then you should expect rumors of a sex tape to go around the internet.

Butch Patrick, who portrayed Eddie on ‘The Munsters,’ checked into a New Jersey rehab facility two weeks ago. Though Patrick, 57, was seeking help with a 40-year addiction to alcohol, cocaine and marijuana, he left rehab shortly after and nearly overdosed last week.
“He not only continued with drugs and alcohol after checking himself out of rehab,” Butch’s agent Jodi Ritzen told RadarOnline.com, “but started to black out and make rash decisions while under the influence causing him to nearly overdose last Thursday evening.”
Patrick has been filming an A&E series, ‘Life’s a Butch,’ and his producer, John Rose, made arrangements for the actor to get to Los Angeles for help.
Ritzen told Radar that Patrick’s family met him at the airport in LA Friday, staging an intervention.
“Butch is uninsured, but they were able to check him into an Orange County facility after they offered him free treatment,” Ritzen said. “His situation is so dire that he was given a scholarship estimated to be worth $25,000 per week for his treatment.”
A “shaken and emotional” Patrick will remain in treatment for a minimum of 30 days, with seven days spent in detox.
“I can only hope that fans understand the severity of Butch’s problem and will continue to show their support for him through all of this,” Ritzen said. “I would rather have Butch meet with fans clean and sober then take the chance of him winding up dead.”
