Katrina Bowden, the best part of 30 Rock for me, has officially been voted this years Sexiest Woman Alive according to the readers of Esquire Magazine and I am in total agreement.
Katrina also took part of a photoshoot for Esquire and MeInMyPlace.com which is shot by an anonymous photographer who shoots “real women, in their real homes, in their real clothes, at their invitation.” Here is part of her interview:
On winning: “Came out of nowhere. I know that Esquire does their Sexiest Woman Alive every year, but I didn’t know that there was this online bracket as well. I don’t even know what Butler is.”
On her competition: “I was up against Kim Kardashian. And then — let’s put it this way: If you say my name and then say Megan Fox’s name, most people know who she is but, well, a small percent will know who I am. I think a lot of the fans of 30 Rock kind of went crazy with it.”
On starting of modeling: “I started modeling when I was about fourteen, so I would come in to the city for shoots after school like three times a week. I went to an all-girls school, in that environment where everyone’s really catty and competitive. I didn’t let any of that get to me.”
On acting: “It was a release, acting — my favorite part of the week. I started doing more TV commercials and Law & Order, and I was on a soap opera for a while, and I just… I liked playing a part. I liked getting in front of a camera and doing things other than taking photos.”
On first starting at 30 Rock: “I found out I was playing Cerie on Friday, and started on Monday. I was so scared that I got kind of lost getting there. So I walk in the room late, out of breath, and everyone’s just sitting down at the table staring at me. Then Tracy Morgan gets up and says, ‘Don’t just stand there lookin’ beautiful – sit down right next to me!’”
She also says that yes, she did indeed vote for herself. A woman who isn’t afraid to say she voted for herself in one of these lists is a woman I like. Enjoy the photos and video, most of them are after the jump below.
Minka Kelly has been named as Esquire Magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive 2010, while I don’t think she is the sexiest woman alive I do think she is definitely sexy … just take a look at the photoshoot below that she did for the magazine.
On her childhood with her mother: “My mom lived a fast life, it was all about what we could do to have fun with nothing. She — for most of my life, she was a dancer. An exotic dancer. She was a stripper. Um, so she would come home at like three, four o’clock in the morning, and sometimes she would have a really great night, and so she would wake me up in the middle of the night and we’d go to Ralphs and go grocery shopping. And that was so much fun. We’d have the whole grocery store to ourselves, and we would have a blast and buy a hundred dollars in groceries. And it was just the best day ever. The best day.”

Marisa Miller is featured in the August 2010 issue of FHM Magazine and she has been voted the Sexiest Woman In The World for 2010 which she says is “hugely humbling and flattering.”
As a thank you to the voters she invited FHM into her house to do a photoshoot, she says “I know men are very visual, so I thought it would be fun to play up the sexy, housewife-next-door fantasy.” She also gives an interview to the magazine…
On body paint: “I’ve been body painted by Sports Illustrated four times now. It’s always incredible. But the most memorable was a shoot in Turks and Caicos, because it took three people 16 hours to paint me, then, ten minutes into the shoot, it started to rain. I ran back to the hotel as fast as I could. I wasn’t going to hang around to see if the paint was waterproof or not!”
On modeling at 16-years-old: “I didn’t even know it was a job, so it wasn’t something I could even dream about. For this reason going to Italy and being exposed to the industry as a teenager was an eye-opener. But when it really became surreal was when I did my first Victoria’s Secret shoot. My mum got the catalog when I was growing up, so when I was on it’s cover it was just weird, like two worlds colliding.”
On diets: “My body is still kind of a science experiment. But what I’ve learned is, it’s always better to look curvy. Women look sexier curvy, so I try to focus on working out over dieting. I think there’s such a thing as looking too skinny.”
Marisa Miller is definitely a good pick for this years Sexiest Woman in the World.
Readers of FHM UK have named Cheryl Cole the sexiest woman in the world for the second year in a row leaving Megan Fox in second place. Overall the top 10 is pretty good, except for Kristen Stewart - I guess those Twilight fans voted in their thousands because that’s the only way to explain her being here.
