Who Will Be Spider-Man’s Love Interest?

New Spider-Man Andrew Garfield and director Marc Webb are starting to meet with actresses to play the webslinger’s love interest (who won’t be Mary Jane) in the rebooted franchise.

The front-runners are reportedly a bunch of up-and-coming, slightly indie chicks: Lily “Daughter of Phil” Collins, Imogen Poots, Ophelia Lovibond, Emma Roberts, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’s Teresa Palmer, and Scott Pilgrim’s Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Based solely on their wondrous names, we are rooting for Poots or Lovibond.

Superheroes Gone Wild

Superheroes Gone Wild

Italian artist Giuseppe Veneziano has opened a controversial show that features superheroes and various loved cartoon characters doing some very human (and disturbing) things.

The show in Pietrasanta, Italy has stirred up controversy due mostly to it’s image of a baby Hitler cuddling up with the Virgin Mary, but it also features several other strange images of beloved characters engaging in destructive (read: awesome) behavior.
