Sandra Bullock’s People Cover Highest Selling

Sandra Bullock’s “People” magazine cover is raking in the payola! It’s proving to be their second most successful cover ever, right underneath Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins cover feature.

Sandra Bullock's People Cover Highest Selling

Sandra dropped the bomb on us that she adopted baby Louis, right after her ex-husband, Jesse’s cheating scandal broke. It hasn’t been enough yet to outsell August 2008′s cover featuring the Brangelina twins.

The Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt cover brought in a whopping $2.8 million for “People”. While Sandra Bullock’s cover featuring Louis, is trailing them by $100,000 at $2.7 million.

A magazine insider said, “Sandra’s cover has been on newsstands for a week and it has already sold over 2.7 million copies. That’s only 100,000 less than the 2.8 million copies the magazine sold when Angelina’s twins graced the cover — and a half-million more copies than the June 2006 issue with exclusive baby pictures of Brad and Angelina’s first daughter, Shiloh, which moved 2.2 million newsstand copies.”

I think that Sandra’s cover will outsell Brad and Angelina’s, mostly due to all of the scandal involved in her marriage. Everyone was in awe that she had adopted at all, considering that her ex-husband is a douche. Good for her, though. They both look happy.

I’m sure “People” was happy to oblige her with that exclusive. I just wonder how much she got paid to spill the beans?

The Jolie-Pitts Make Their Christmas Presents

If you’re going to spending the festive seasons at the home of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt then you should not expect to receive an expensive Christmas present, in fact don’t expect anything but a home made gift.

Pitt says the couple who have Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Shiloh and the latest twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon don’t let their children watch American cartoons, which is why he believes they don’t ask for big presents.

He said, “the kids don’t ask for big gifts for the reason that they don’t see a lot of the American cartoon television, which is packed with all those manipulative commercials for big toys that look so fantastic. When they do see that stuff is when they start asking for the toys, so we figure if they don’t see them they won’t know they’re there.”

He added that they “have gifts, but we try to keep the money spent to a minimum. The rule is that everyone’s got to make something for someone else, you got to put time into it.”

Brad also went on to give nappy changing advice to any parents, “you got to do it quick. There’s something about the air contact that makes them want to go again, so you got to get in there and get them changed before that happens, because those things stink! I’m pretty good at being quick, I must say – got it down by now.”

I was never into making presents for people so I don’t think I would fit in well with the Jolie-Pitt household.

Brad & Angelina’s Twins Photoshopped by People

People magazine paid $14 million for the rights to shoot and publish photos of Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, the twin babies of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. That’s twice the amount that a celebrity weekly has ever paid for infant snaps because, you know, there are two of them.

In that cover photo, it looks like Vivienne Marcheline is sporting a giant grin. She may even be laughing. Hold on. These babies are purported to be a mere 3 weeks old!

Parenting magazine says that babies don’t smile from exterior stimulation until two to four months — even if said exterior stimulation is the most beautiful pair of humans in the entire world. Conspiracy! Photoshop! Something!

There could be a perfectly logical explanation, of course. The babies could have been born earlier than reported to avoid paparazzi attention, as has been rumored. Or Angelina and Brad, predicting their future acting careers, are already lying about the infants’ ages. Or these babies could be hyperadvanced super geniuses — in which case, for photos of the genetically perfect future of humanity, the $14 million People paid was probably a bargain.

In all honesty, I think paying 14 million for the pictures of those babies is ludicrous. How could they possibly sell enough magazines to justify that high of an amount? Yeah, they photoshopped them.

Fifteen Million Dollar Babies

The new Messiahs have come and they are freakin’ adorable. Then again, you have to say that about babies. I’m pretty sure these kids could have been sloth babies and people would still leave trinkets of adoration and gush about how gorgeous they are.

“It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time,” Jolie tells PEOPLE of daily life at the Château Miraval in Provence, France, where the couple’s four older children – Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 – have been enjoying a summer of outdoor play (hide-and-seek is a favorite) on the château’s sprawling grounds.

Adds Pitt: “[It's] still a cuckoo’s nest.”

Fortunately, they already have some household helpers. “[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins'] clothes and help change and hold them,” says Jolie. “It’s sweet – they are little mommies.”

The mag shelled out over $15 million for the first photos of the Jolie-Pitt twins. Regardless, the People issue with the Vivienne and Knox will be on newsstands tomorrow. Sounds too cute. I bet you Maddox was rocking a shirt that said: “I Was Here First Bitches!”
